Sierra decided to skip school today. She later cried about her decision. I asked her if I could take her picture and, to my surprise, she said, "Yes, but I don't want to smile." I told that it was OK to not smile.
Moments later, she was laughing.

Okay so something a little different. It didnt turn out the way I wanted it to at all...but I dont have ps or anything...just the program that came with my camera.

I was bored and wanted to take some "fun" shots with my camera. I started to look around my house for some common items. I used a piece of stemware filled with potpourri (a mixture of dried material, used to provide a gentle natural scent in houses) to achieve this mysterious crimson & gold photo.

My friend's baby shower. The moment when she finally got overwhelmed by the love, friends, gifts, hormones... It was beautiful to see her happy/teary surrounded by her closest family and friends (and one photographer!) To be honest the photographer felt moved and on the brink of crying much sooner than this lovely pregnant lady... Ah, photo business can be hard sometimes! :)
