This horse was Red Kestrel - the favourite - but he got a little too wound up in the parade ring and finished up way back in the field. Maybe next time!

My first attempt at an action shot. I have to say when these things came thundering past it was an experience on its own!

A sneaky peak at the Doncaster Racecourse after the Tour de Yorkshire! Doncaster is one of the oldest and largest established centres for horse racing in Britain, with records of regular race meetings going back to the 16th century! It currently hosts two of Great Britain's 31 Group 1 flat races, the St Leger Stakes and the Racing Post Trophy.
