The Senado Square, or Senate Square (Portuguese: Largo do Senado; traditional Chinese: 議事亭前地). The square is paved in the traditional Portuguese pavement. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Historic Centre of Macau".
Bee participants were asked to make a flower block (and construction except raw edge applique) with finished side sizes in multiples of 3 or 4.
Constructing the quilt top was a challenge but I think the finished puzzle looks amazing!
Quilted with organic vertical straight lines and out 3/5" apart, broken at the flowers with some darker blocks horizontally quilted.

Os gonozoóides que produzem os gâmetas para a reprodução.
Sua fisgada pode ser muito dolorosa e pode apresentar sintomas como calafrios, febre, náusea, vômito e choque. Em alguns casos, as fisgadas são fatais.

You are looking at an image through the eyes of a person who is suffering cataract blindness.
I was unfortunate. I was born with bilateral cataracts which has dogged my vision for over 40 years.Thankfully, after countless operations & a lens implant my eyesight has regained to a level where i can enjoy life. New ophthalmic technologies have proven successful over the last 20 years.Over 98% of cataract surgeries are successfully completed without surgical complications, and more than 95% of patients have improved vision. Those patients whose vision fails to improve often have underlying ocular disorders, such as age related macular degeneration (ARMD), diabetic retinopathy, and other conditions. In some cases, these patients may benefit from other procedures or from low vision aids.
I use my camera to share with others the beauty which is sometimes taken for granted & passes us by unnoticed.
From when we first open our eyes in the morning until we close them at night, we must spare a thought for those suffering with ocular disorders.Especially those in third world countries where funds & technology has not reached that far & so the suffering goes on.
It is a living torment that i have fortunately escaped & this is my personal thank you for those who helped me regain my sight.

O Noites do Sudeste foi a Maria Helena que me mandou, na nossa última troquinha. É meu primeiro Ana Hickmann, não era muito fácil de achar por aqui e eu confesso que nunca dei muita bola pra marca. Esse aí achei bem lindão. Como diz que é duochrome, usei sobre um preto pra realçar bem o efeito. Bom, é duochrome mas porém não muito, eu pessoalmente vi pouca variação, é um marrom que, dependendo, fica um pouco avermelhado. Mesmo sendo (ugh) marrom, tenho que admitir que é bonito, esse acabamento dele é muito bacana, me lembrou os Orly Cosmic FX ou aquela coleção premium da L'Apogée dos metais. Passei uma camada sobre o preto e acho que precisa de muita boa vontade pra usá-lo sozinho, então não pretendo fazer isso. :P

I really love Lenny and Wizzy. So often with pairs of cats one is dominant and the other is quieter, but this brother and sister seem to have very similar temperaments. They are incredibly soft and gentle and I'm delighted to say that they were reserved this week, so they'll very soon be leaving for their new home together. The rescue centre only ever agrees to separate pairs of cats if it's very obvious they don't get on. I shall really miss my group hugs with these two softies.

Também deve ser votado o substitutivo da Câmara dos Deputados ao PL 4.815/2019, que estabelece ações de assistência social, promoção da saúde mental e prevenção do suicídio entre profissionais de segurança pública e defesa social.

Just had a bunch of prints done for my portfolio and am all excited because they (most of them) turned out well. This is one that has been hanging out in a folder and decided to get a print of and after looking at the results was anxious to get home and post it.
Early one morning at Mt. Rainier I went looking for bears in Paradise Valley and while looking out at the breathtaking view this fawn and a doe came wandering out of a thicket of trees. It was so peaceful to watch them in the silence of the big mountain and I wanted to show the bigger picture and so elected to shoot them in their environment. As it was mid-September, there was a mixture of wildflowers, such as Magenta Paintbrush, and turning leaves.
It has been a frustrating two days trying to upload photos to be printed - it should not be so difficult - and I've gotten little else done. Not enough sleep spells grouchy. And I haven't used my camera since Monday morning, so there is probably a bad case of withdrawals going on. But, now I'm excited to put my portfolio together. If you haven't printed many of your photos, I recommend doing so because looking at mine today taught me a lot about my photography, what is missing, what doesn't work and what does work. From now on, note to self, clone out all flying insects unless they are the intended target.
Okay, have a great weekend, I hope to get the camera out some tomorrow and see some of my Flickr contacts out shooting the eagles.
