Documenta früh am Morgen

Last week I visited the documenta(13) for 2 days and I enjoyed being there a lot - it was 2 days of wandering and strolling through a huge green park with art projects everywhere, museums and diefferent locations filled with art, many people and great sunny days full of inspiration.

Objekten und zeitgenössischen afrikanischen Skulpturen auf, die nach Fotografien von plastischen Operationen an Soldaten aus dem ersten Weltkrieg angefertigt wurden - Gesichter, die ebenfalls zerstört und "repariert" wurden (..)

Installation of 400 tons of scrap metal from landfill and recycling centers. 9 specific objects taken away and installed in a separate exhibition room - replaced by concrete elements to fill the space. The Guidebook: “ The visual similarity between the fillers and the displayed objects, the mutual temporary quality of the pile and the exhibition (…) prevent the viewer from understanding exactly what the actual work is and where and when it is located.”
