In May 1966, a strike by seamen caused several cruise liners and other large ships to be stranded in Southampton. My family (I wasn't around then) were there on holiday, and my Dad took these photos.

Along the shore of Dock Tarn. You have to imagine the heather fully out in three weeks time.!

This vintage framed etching depicts a scene on a wharf with a large ship docked at the back, possibly a fishing vessel as this piece was found in Monterey County.

Lynn and I were at Lake Tansi (just south of Crossville, TN) this weekend with the fam. On my way to catch a pic of the sunset I ran upon this dock.

A Docked Boat is always safe, but that's not the purpose it is built for....!

First time I had visited Gloucester Docks and I am very impressed. Seems much nicer than the Bristol docks area, plenty of old warehouses restored. Just seems to have "a nice vibe"
