Barrett-Jackson 2026 Scottsdale: This 1975 Porsche 914 Targa is powered by a mid-mounted air-cooled 1.8-liter flat-4 engine with Bosch fuel injection producing 84hp and 102 ft/lbs of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission sending power to the rear wheels. It features its factory exhaust configuration and includes recently added new shocks along with disc brakes. The exterior is finished in Nepal Orange and includes rectangular pop-up headlights, matte black bumpers, anodized black Porsche script and matching side stripes, a removable Targa top and 15-inch four-bolt wheels. The interior is trimmed in black leatherette and equipped with an Alpine cassette radio, a Momo steering wheel and a defroster, completing the late-model 914 updates and features.

Barrett-Jackson: This 1987 Buick Grand National is a well-preserved original. It's powered by a turbocharged 3.8-liter intercooled V6 engine paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission. Factory equipment, as noted on the original option sheet, includes a posi-traction rear axle, factory air conditioning, power windows and door locks, power driver's seat, tilt steering wheel, cruise control, rear defogger, concert sound speaker system and factory theft-deterrent system. Additional equipment includes the sport steering wheel, performance suspension, 15-inch aluminum wheels and the signature black exterior with matching blacked-out trim exclusive to the Grand National. The interior retains its factory-style two-tone black and gray upholstery with bucket seats and full instrumentation, including a factory turbo boost gauge. The 1987 model year marked the final production year for the Grand National, representing the most refined iteration of Buick's turbocharged performance platform. The extensive documentation verifies the vehicle's original equipment and provides a continuous record of ownership and maintenance. The car is accompanied by an exceptional collection of original paperwork that includes the original Bill of Sale, factory order sheet, vehicle delivery reports, advanced price sheet and the complete owner's manual set with maintenance schedule. The documentation also includes service and maintenance records dating from the 1990s, along with period newspaper articles from 1997 discussing the Grand National's significance within Buick's performance lineup. As a WC (Weapons Carrier) series truck, it is not technically a Power Wagon, which is a civilian post-war variant. Wikipedia
Barrett-Jackson: This custom 1941 Dodge G505 half-ton pickup has been fully restored and tastefully upgraded while retaining its original character. Power comes from an upgraded 251ci Chrysler Spitfire inline-6 engine replacing the factory 230ci unit, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission that replaces the original 4-speed to allow sustained 60-plus-mph cruising, with power delivered through a 1965 New Process transfer case featuring a low range and locking front hubs. The braking system has been fully renewed, and suspension upgrades include air shocks up front along with rear air bags for ride height adjustability. The cab features extensive custom woodwork, complemented by a fully custom wood utility bed at the rear. Interior amenities include a Kenwood touchscreen stereo system with dual subwoofers discreetly hidden in the glove box. The truck is accompanied by numerous spare parts, including axles and a rear end.

we were offered cabcharge dockets to get home from the zoo but i chose to use my weekly ticket and get the ferry back across the harbour and then get the bus. a few of the other volunteers did the same as it was a bit hard to get taxis.
