I just got these today and will send them to Chloe for her 4th Birthday on April 4th. She grew out of the ones I sent her for Christmas 3 months ago. My daughter says she's growing like a weed!
Doc Style build. Zacuto mini baseplate. No built in ND filters so I had to use my old Arri MMB1.
Viewfinder is awesome. Great for run and gun.
The voice of Dr. Girlfriend. This is not my photo of course but I love it so much.

Klaus Märtens was a doctor in the German army during WW2.
In 1947 he went into business using discarded rubber from Luftwaffe airfields.
The first Dr. Martens boots in the UK came out in 1960 in the Northamptonshire area. Popular among postmen, policemen and factory workers, then later with skinheads and punks.
In 2003 Dr. Martens production moved to China and Thailand but in 2007, the company began producing The "Vintage" line made to the original specs in the Cobbs Lane Factory in Wollaston.
8 May 2012 I love my Doc Martens and wear them regularly. That's a piano-pedal at my foot - I'm a piano-teacher.
P. S. I lost them for a while — a nephew borrowed them and claimed to have returned them, though I knew he hadn't. On 13 June 2013 his father returned them to me, making me a happy man — till I noticed that he’d scuffed them. 😡

3 of my friends (Chavery, Emily, Cadence) chipped in to get me these incredibly beautiful boots which I'd had my eye on. So much love!!
(My trusty cowboy boots are falling apart so I've been sorely in need of a new pair of basic, everyday black leather boots.)
