This a fashion shoot using a model.

and a special thanks to Janine for her boots =D

I bought myself a new pair of Docs this weekend. I used to wear DMs all the time but the more traditional black 8 hole 1460 style (these are Gaucho Crazy Horse hiking boots but I don't plan on doing any hiking in them!). Dr. Martens were almost part of an unofficial indy kid uniform along with checked shirts, jeans and combat jacket (sometimes a leather jacket, sometimes both together!) when I was younger.

This is the first pair of Docs I've bought in quite some time and it's nice to reacquaint myself with them.

Had a walk in search of mud, didn't find any! New socks for Jeff too

This is Doc. In the middle of a very "energetic" gathering in downtown Santa Fe. I thought he looked out of place, but he was kind, and liked the Strangers project. When I asked him to pose, he got this far off look that I love. I wish I had framed him on the right side of the image to give his gaze more space to draw the viewer in to. I guess that's why the strangers project is a learning project!

The Doc Holliday Tavern has quite the history. When John Henry, "Doc" Holliday came to Glenwood Springs in 1887 this tavern was a mercantile store just a few doors down from the sanatorium where "Doc" died of consumption. The actual back bar, as it is today, was transported from Leadville, Colorado, where Doc Holliday hung his hat to drink and recount his adventures. The neon sign is a landmark in Glenwood Springs, when lit one can see the six shooter firing right above the entrance door to the tavern. It is a remarkable neon sign calling patrons in to see the pictures that hang on the walls of this famous Western watering hole named after Doc Holliday. His life was short (1851 to 1887), but his memory lives on.

Go big: press the L key.

A very basic set of flight controls and instruments when compared to today's aircraft. Also one heck of a view!

Dr. Martens is a footwear, clothing and accessories brand, and the footwear products are often known as Doc Martens, Docs or DMs. The footwear is distinct because of its air-cushioned sole (dubbed Bouncing Soles), developed by Dr. Klaus Maertens of Germany. The boots and shoes have been especially popular among skinheads, punks and members of a few other youth subcultures

Detalhes da festa.

You fill up my senses

like a night in the forest

like the mountains in springtime,

like a walk in the rain

like a storm in the desert,

like a sleepy blue ocean

you fill up my senses,

come fill me again.

Come let me love you,

let me give my life to you

let me drown in your laughter,

let me die in your arms

let me lay down beside you,

let me always be with you

come let me love you,

come love me again....
