I watched Full Metal Jacket again a while back, it had been a while, and I realized that I walk through rubble like the bombed out city in that movie every day on my way to work and the supermarket and stuff. I know the exact spot this photo was taken is supposedly the "Chinese Riviera" where you would go to shop for a Bentley or charter are yacht, sure, ok, say whatever you want about it, but what they ought to do with it is shoot war films.
Anyway, if they're ever in a real war, any opposing force would have a hard time trying to fuck the place up more than it already is.
