A long and tiring day today as we've had yet another event - this time it's open evening.

 

That normally gets you a pic from something in our science department and this year is no different.

 

Here we've got a heart from...something, with a member of staff illustrating those lovely tendons.

Sixth Grade Sheep Heart & Lung Dissection

 

Kit was rather taken with the appearance of these lamb hearts we had for dinner. We discovered that they taste rather like liver. I surmise that this is because neither organ drains fully of blood after slaughter.
