This penguin (photographed in New Zealand) is an elaboration using Photoshop and After Effects (thanx to Guido - tutorial from www.total-photoshop.com)
The unfamiliar London light, much lower in intensity than Toronto's, defied me as I tried to shoot the Serpentine Bridge and the setting sun. Cars, black cabs, rumbled by; and pedestrians constantly crossed this bridge. When I'd warmed up in the sheltered walk along the Serpentine, I went back up to the bridge and crossed it on the side facing the camera back to Kensington Gardens.

Note: This is not an original work of mine, rather done from a tutorial (by Jessie Ascher) which can be found in Issue 27 of Photoshop Creative magazine.

The more astute among my viewers will recognise the original trees from previous shots. This was then added to with a layer copy and displacement map for the water effect.

Another shot of The Girl in the Sky, but this time I used different effects on it. See the "normal" one of her in a different pose in my BIST Brain Injury Awareness Celebration set to the right.
I took my best shot of the Queen and played with special effects to pop her out of the crowd. Blogged here: pario.blogspot.com/2010/07/queen-elizabeth-ii-visits-quee... To see the original, go here.
