Two seals ended up hanging headless down on an outside drying rack in Qeqertarsuaq on Disko Island, on the west coast of Greenland.
The skin is traditionally used as isolation in clothing, for kayaks and in houses. Greenlandic sealskins are NOT traded overseas, like commercial Canadian companies do. Greenlandic hunters hunt for seals as their way of survival, as the Inuit civilation never grew up on oranges for their vitamins. They get all the necessary vitamins from fish and meat.
