In Sept 2011 I (Brave1) organised a graffiti 'jam' at Chelmsford Arts trail. On 200m of hoarding in the centre of the town.
59 Graffiti artists painted over 65 pieces in the two days that was 'last weekend' !

Sept 10th & 11th was a big day for graffiti in Chelmsford Essex!
Chelmsford is rare in that for over 25 years the town has let a little known area of it become a graffiti art gallery.
The walls there have had over a thousand different murals painted on them.
Since the 1980's hundreds of artists from across the globe have passed through & left their art. Most of which has gone unnoticed outside 'graffiti art circles'.
Nowadays those circles have grown, and so have the artists. Tin Shed linked up with one of the artists through 'Brave Arts' to see what we've been missing.
This years Chelmsford Arts trail "spraycan art gallery" will feature works form Essex's first & original Spraycan artists. Chelmsfords own "Essex Rockers Crew" Painting live free-hand spraycan art murals alongside other well established & highly skilled graffiti artists & designers.
p.s... I realise thtat my pics of this have some peoples pieces missing n' I took some of these in the dark so sorry about that!
