Did you enjoy this project? I used to live in Ohio and visited mounds. This was interesting and reminded me of my old home.
About: This pieces shows the arbitrary nature of creating boundaries around land and people. this culture travelled and traded and had a developed society. What we don't know may be even more profound than what we can even imagine.

This day was the coldest day in January, at 10 degrees! My fingers and feet were soooooo cold, but I braved the conditions and discovered this gorgeous shot of an empty Navy Pier.
Glenfinnan, Mallaig & Jacobite Steam Train
A stunning tour that takes us to film locations from movies such as Highlander, Local Hero, Skyfall and Harry Potter.
Enjoy an optional trip on the Jacobite steam train – a journey described by many as one of the great railway journeys of the world. The train crosses the Glenfinnan Viaduct, known the world over for its remarkable engineering and more importantly, as the way to Harry Potter’s Hogwarts.
From Glasgow we follow the full length of Loch Lomond before we make a short stop for coffee at Tyndrum.
Then it’s on to Glencoe, a film location used in Skyfall and Harry Potter and the setting to one of the most shameful episodes in Scottish history. We stop here to admire the stunning but haunting beauty of the Glen.
In 1745 Bonnie Prince Charlie raised his standard at Glenfinnan in an ill-fated attempt to reinstate the exiled Stuarts on to the throne of Great Britain and Ireland. The Glenfinnan Monument which lies at the head of Loch Shiel was erected in 1815 in tribute to the Jacobites who fought and died in the cause of Prince Charles Edward Stuart. The views and scenery here are simply spectacular.
In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Loch Eilt was the spot where Hagrid was seen skimming stones across the water. As we pass Loch Eilt look out for the Loch Eilt pines – a fine example of the ancient Caledonian pine forest. An essential stopping off point is the Silver Sands of Morar with superb coastline views across a turquoise sea to the Isles of Eigg, Rum and further north to Skye.
Arriving in Mallaig you will have approximately an hour to enjoy a walk and take in the local atmosphere. There are shops, bars, restaurants and the chance to sample some local fish and chips.
From Mallaig you have the option to return to Fort William on the Jacobite Steam Train (optional extra) or you can return on the coach. For those taking the optional steam train ride, your driver-guide will arrange your tickets and will be waiting for you at Fort William.
Our return journey takes us over Rannoch Moor and to the Drovers Inn. For over 310 years the Drovers has welcomed the great and the good including the infamous Rob Roy MacGregor.
It is said to be “haunted” and there are many tales and sightings of ghouls and ghosts wandering around this ancient Scottish Inn. These days it is the perfect place to enjoy some evening refreshments by a roaring log fire before returning to Glasgow.

Shell's drill ship Noble Discoverer remains tied to a pier in a restricted area of the harbor in Seward, Alaska January 12, 2013 after the Coast Guard found safety problems with it. The EPA issued Shell notices of air quality violations coming from its drill rig Kulluk and drill ship Discoverer during what was a shortened Arctic drilling season of about two months. Shell's drill rig Kulluk and drill ship Noble Discoverer emitted excessive amounts of nitrogen oxide. There were multiple violations for each ship. Photo by Greenpeace
