Star Trails at the OK Corral (4330)
Cowboy up! Pioneertown, California began as a Wild West motion picture set in the 1940s, with Roy Rogers, Gene Autry and others among the original developers and investors. The set was designed for the actors to live while using their homes in the movie. The Cisco Kid and many other Westerns were filmed here. Saloons, jails, banks, all the good stuff you need for a Western town. I illuminated the scene while the camera shutter was open with a hand-held Protomachines LED2 flashlight. The circular star trails were created by the very long total exposure, created by the rotation of the earth. Nikon D610/14-24mm f/2.8. 2016-07-19 02:47. Each individual photo was 30s f/8 ISO 1000 and were stacked to reduce noise and create the 29 minute overall exposure.

Finally crossed one place of my bucket list. You can't feel nothing but overwhelmed next to Dynjandi waterfall in Iceland. I had to place myself next to it to better understand the sense of scale here. And what was even better, there was nobody else around that evening. Very rare for Iceland.
This monk was sitting there smaltalking with a monk on the other side, both observing the passing tourists and locals. Theravāda (Literally "school of the elder monks") is a branch of Buddhism that uses the teaching of the Pāli Canon, a collection of the oldest recorded Buddhist texts, as its doctrinal core, but also includes a rich diversity of traditions and practices that have developed over its long history of interactions with cultures and communities.
This is a miner's dugout in a flow cave that I found particularly intriguing. It looks like a strange planet in "Star Trek: TOS". I asked about the history in a group devoted to the Owens Valley area, and someone replied, "My dad, who worked for DWP told me that they used these to store the explosives while building the aqueduct to Los Angeles." All illumination and colored lights were done with a handheld flashlight during the exposure, and is not a post-processing creation.
