A small portable (relatively ancient) Philips radio; still used regularly. Radio is not dead.

I went in the Tomsk State University (TSU) to a very interesting event which was called "Molodilnik 2016". The point amounted to the fact that the best young people of the city of Tomsk were awarded diplomas and medals and after that there was a concert. After it's been a long disco, where I made this wonderful picture. Take a look at this!

The 'Southern Swan' was built at the Frederikssund shipyard in Denmark and launched on January 10, 1922.

Captured this with 336 RAW shots. Stacked all the shots in Photoshop CS6 using lighten mode. Increased the overall saturation with Hue/Saturation in Photoshop. Curve adjustment to increase the overall contrast. 1 layer mask in soft light mode at 50% gray, using brush tool to lighten and darken some areas of the image, to bring out details. Topaz DeNoise to reduce noise. Topaz Clarity Landscape filter to increase contrast and color.
Perseid Meteor Shower Party at Trillium Lake 2015. We were deciding on where to go shoot the meteor shower and ended up at Trillium Lake. It was quite a party with all the lights from the stars to the cars headlights. It took about three hours to capture all 336 shots. Although the meteor shower was not as spectacular as predicted, but it was still great with all the man-made light show.

These Blythe dolls are Silent Lucretia (Neo), Sweet Spell Scarlet (Petite) and Yellow Marshmallow (Middie) for “Everybody dance now” on Flickr and “Bewitched” on Facebook. I added the disco lights effect with the app called A Color Story. I used the 3 day free trial because I don’t want to pay for another photo editing app! I already pay for PicMonkey, but it doesn’t have the effect I wanted for this photo.

On the way back from my friend's house a week or so ago I realised that for once I was early for my train. Rather than wait for 20 minutes at the station cold and bored out of my mind I decided to grab a half at a nearby bar.
On trying to enter I was in a fortunately positive mood as the bouncer ID'd me. I thanked him kindly for knocking eleven years off my life , showed him my passport, observed his rather shocked expression and walked in. At the bar I was regarded with deep suspicion but they decided to sell me a half a lager anyway.
With only 20 minutes I decided to take some long exposure pictures of the crap flashy disco lights. After five minutes of enjoying myself yet another bouncer approached me and told me to put my camera away or leave. I told him that I was taking pictures of the lights but it was manager's orders. I put my camera away and left.
At the time I was in a good enough mood not to care but since then I have been rankled by this a little. I'm not a fan of this trend of stopping people taking pictures , it's leading somewhere bad.
