This is a car from from the game Disco Elysium, belonging to Kim Kitsuragi, called the Coupris Kineema. My partner's been super into the game lately and challenged me to build one, and it was a challenge indeed! I wanted to get the front-to-back and top-top-bottom tapers right without making it too unstable. I used a combination of screenshots, concept art books, and fanmade resources to replicate as much detail as I could. I hope y'all enjoy!

I bought Fashion Favorites #1010 ‘Disco Dazzle’ from 1979 for my Taiwan Pretty Changes, (as she wore it in that year’s booklet, and it looked so great on her as the jumpsuit is practically the same cut as her original one,) but even though I got that outfit about a year or so ago, I hadn’t done that yet! It had always been on one of my Fashion Photo 'Elaines', so it was high time to change her into that…. I redressed that Elaine in Best Buy #2559 from 1978, as that had been packed away in a box for years, and I was amazed at how great it looked on her, especially with her pretty coral-hued makeup! I improvised the gold belt with the dangling gold purse using one from a Brooke Shields doll outfit, and that cool ‘masquerade’ purse was borrowed from Darci’s friend, Erica. (That purse-belt in fact was always a classic designer touch from that 70’s legend, Halston. In fact, the whole outfit looks very much what he was designing at that time!) These two disco divas are now ready to hit Studio 54!
Burn baby burn!
Burnin'!
To mass fires, yes! One hundred stories high
People gettin' loose y’all gettin' down on the roof - Do you hear?
(the folks are flaming) Folks were screamin' - out of control
It was so entertainin' - when the boogie started to explode
I heard somebody say
Burn baby burn! - Disco inferno!
Burn baby burn! - Burn that mama down
Satisfaction came in the chain reaction
I couldn't get enough, (till I had to self-destroy) so I had to
self destruct,
The heat was on (burnin’), rising to the top, huh!
Everybody's goin' strong
And that is when my spark got hot
I heard somebody say
For Macro Mondays theme “Songs from your teens”
This was hard again. I don't remember what kind of music I listened in my early teens. So I called my childhood friend and asked her. She told me that I didn't have a favorite bands like other girls did, I listened all kinds of music.
One thing that she remembered was that when there were disco nights for us “kids” at the school, we were both so excited and planned very carefully what to wear and how to sneak out of the house so that parents wouldn't see how much make-up we had on, because if they caught us, they made us wash it off. So this image is of the disco music and of how silly we girls probably looked when we went to a disco :)
And I don't usually wear earrings like this, these were bought for a costume party.
Happy MacroMonday!
a fun run with a disco twist. runners go through a tunnel with retro music playing and mirror balls to the max! it really put the fun in run :)

I came across a small flower shop today that was selling these "Disco Diva" roses. I was in a rush, so didn't ask how they get every petal to be a different colour (hybridized or dyed?). Wish I had. Anyone know?
And nope, I did not colorize this image - it is as it is.
Sometimes the only thing is to flick on the disco lights and pump up the volume to some Hi-NRG. Dancing is optional, but I always do.
