I’m not much of a drinker nowadays (which is one of the reasons why I haven’t posted any booze shots as of late). Anyway, the wife and I was recently on a dinner date, and we had a nice steak dinner. I wasn’t gonna drink anything originally, but wifey wanted to have something with our dinners. She had a pineapple mojito, I had a dry martini, shaken, not stirred (sounds familiar, anyone?). It was delicious, the olives made it just as tasty, I think they used Bombay Sapphire (one of the best gins made) and a (very) dry vermouth. I used to make these religiously back in the day (mostly vodka) , but those days are long gone for me, and I’m cool with that, y’all. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves. And as always, drink responsibly! One last thing, the beverage on the left is a mix of ginger ale and cranberry juice.

A friend commented today on a photo post of one year ago ( m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10159860679046155&... ) where I had mentioned I would share food and dessert pics later. Like everything else in life, time flies, new pics get taken, the pile of unposted ones grows larger. But because of the comment I just scrolled back one year in my iPhone Photos album to share this one.
Fleming’s in Tampa is one of my favorite places for beautiful and sumptuous dinner dates for more than a decade now. This was some of the dinner from that first dinner with Shannon a year ago. I blurred out some of the stuff we’d already started on when the steaks arrived.

I had a feeling this dress would pay for itself when I bought it! A nice invite to a holiday dinner and drinks has helped make my case. I think I like it better with the blonde hair, more of a contrast to the subtle blue in the dress! I feel pretty !

So my fiancee wanted me to get dressed up for dinner tonight. She picked out the dress and helped with my makeup (ran out of beard cover meh!). I usually like to get dressed first before applying makeup (fall off kinda sucks though if not caught in time). Still learning the ropes!

Gents — The Bouchon French Bistro is not like Mon Ami Gabi, or the Eiffel Tower Restaurant, both at the Paris Hotel & Casino. And surely Bouchon won’t look and feel anything like the Favorite Bistro you just recently visited in the LINQ Promenade. Bouchon is well hidden away ten stories high above the Fabulous Las Vegas Strip and it sits overlooking tropical gardens and a big tropical garden pool. You and your very lovely lady won’t even know you’re in Vegas! 🌞😎
Perhaps your very lovely lady would care for the Gigot d’Agneau (roasted leg of lamb with ratatouille, crispy panisse & extra virgin olive oil) or maybe the Gnocchi à la Parisienne (sautéed gnocchi with a fricassée of summer vegetables) — So what do you think? Would Bouchon’s delightful menu be sufficient to motivate your very lovely lady to leave her two precious puppies behind in the expert care of the hotel’s pet concierge long enough to come out to Play! 🌹😏
