We arrived in Williamsburg, VA in the evening on Thursday and was interested in getting some grub. Though we felt bad from severe colds, we ventured to Chowning Tavern, since it seemed interesting and was nearby. Little did we know the experience would be awesome! We got to sit with other guests -- another couple and a mother and daughter. We tried the sampler dinner -- Brunswick stew is very tasty, but the winner is the hot apple cider! Best of all, we were entertained with games, magic and music! It's a great way to start off our vacation.
