I took my D300 out of retirement today after several years of not being used. It was amazing to see how slowly it focused and how slow was the continuous shooting (especially as compared to the D5). Even when high ISO and dinamic range are not it’s forte, it produced what I would call decent pictures (or better than what I was expecting). Not bad for a 12 year old camera.
capanno mobile da cavalletto ..... sono consapevole che non è perfetta ma mi piaceva la dinamicità della scena ...

This Guy is awesome, his cinematic shots are the best way ever to understand how dinamic is Manhattan.
I know Brooklyn is written with an "Y" so I will fix it this afternoon.
At the end of the lane, past the chapel rain,
I found a castle breathing in the cold.
Old stones kept secrets in their seams,
And every torch knew how to hold.
I came in with a pocket full of bad ideas,
A grin that wouldn’t stay put.
You stood there like a promise with a bruise,
Said, stay close, and look.
When the shadows crowd the hall,
And the floors start to shake,
I learn courage from your grip,
And mercy from your mistake.
Hold the line for me, brother
Hold the line for me, friend
When my hands start to shake too hard,
You talk me back again.
You know my name in the dark,
You know the way I stutter and stall,
Side by side in the doorway,
We don’t let each other fall.

One of my favorite DSLR shooting skills is HDR of processing the high dinamic ranges such as sun burst and reflection. This is one of the examples.
很喜歡數位攝影技巧中，可以用包圍曝光，來處理高反差的逆光拍攝，例如這張雙日芒的效果，就幾乎只能用HDR來實現。

This photo was took with a Sony mirrorless camera Alfa 3000, using with an adaptor for M39 leica lens, As a prime lens I get around to see what I can do with these stuff.
the raw image was processed in Rawtherapee then resised to 2000 pixels for the Flickr.. I "m very impressed with the sharpness and the dinamic range of a lens with even more than 70 years!
