What I'm running now on my pedalboard.
Signal path is as follows:
Morpheus Droptune, Boss TU-2, Digitech EX-7, MXR Dyna Comp, Fulltone OCD, Boss DD-20, Modtone Tremolo, Digitech Digiverb, Rocktron Hush, Vox AC30c2x
i must say, it's hard to think of what you're going to take a picture of when you don't really do something memorable for the day. i mean, i play guitar everyday, so it's hardly unique or something to write about, but its something i did today. my guitar is becoming something i depend on everyday, especially recently, because it is one of the only ways i can truly express feelings, and of course, it is a creative outlet. songs reflect how people feel, and my music, as of lately, is mixed emotions. some of it is depressing, while at other times it's filled with confidence. of course, there's always the music that brings back memories, mostly the good ones, to recall the highlights of my life, most of which are gone now because of my own stupid mistakes. oh, life.
shot with a canon speedlite 430 ex ii, -2 exposure bias
- woke up at noon (as per usual these days)
- ate a quick breakfast
- went to my grandma's to shovel
- had a nice conversation with her, for about an hour or two, about life in general
- came home and recorded a little acoustic guitar (which i didn't save)
- shot this, edited, and posted it
- ate dinner
- went to Looney Tunes and got Raise the Dead on vinyl!
- got some checkers, after being picked up by my friend from school
- hung with some friends and played Guess Who?
- ate half a bag of totino's (by myself)
This is the set up I use onstage and sometimes to record, it's designed to do both. Mac Powerbook 17" with OSX Lion, Ableton Live, KMI Softstep Foot Controller, Digitech Vocalist Workstation XT, Korg ER-1 Electribe drum machine, iPad 2 running various apps including TouchOSC Live Control and TouchAble for control of Albeton, Animoog, iElectribe, Amplitube, Bassline, SpinPhony, Tenori-On aka TNR-i, Polychord and many more! Silvertone elec guitar run through a Mesa Boogie Combo (Mark II prototype formerly owned by Lou Reed)
Compressor + Swollen Pickle + Delay + PRS Santana SE = Sensual Buzziness
The EpiStudio: You Really Got Me
First attempt at recording directly from amp to computer, with no additional processing. The drum track and delay comes from the Digitech pedal. I think it came out pretty nicely (the sound quality, not necessarily the playing). I plan to use this approach to document specific equipment setups with the tone for future reference.

Really amazed at how few cables it looks like are there, but the Line6 has 9 cables, the Digitech has 5, Phonic 3, Akai 7...
The pedals are just a mess, but I haven't figured out what I'm doing there... might get an Un0 chip for the FCB1010.

This is what I'm working with at the moment. Hope to expand with an MXR Carbon Copy or EH Memory Boy in the near future.

My homemade pedal board, made from a kitchen cabinet door blank, some blue paint, and a whole lot of velcro tape. If you're wondering, the pedals are (from left bottom) a Frantone Brooklyn Overdrive, an Ampeg Scrambler fuzz, a Marshall Vibra-Trem, a Danelectro Dan-Echo, a Rocktek "Son of a Pitch" tuner, and above that is a Digitech Whammy.
