Halfway through the first one I decided I hated it and started over. This took half the time, but I like it so much more.
Poor John is about to ruin his only shirt....

For day 11 of Inktober today it's time for snacks
For this day I thought of drawing someone who is eating a few eucalyptus snacks at lunchtime, their favorite food 🐨🍃🌱..
I drew this back when the first movie came out for my Instagram account. I’m no longer on Instagram, The Bad Guys 2 opens this week and Funko still hasn’t made these into Pops. I continue to think these would look great in toy form…
Last week I've started this Fan Art of Maggie (Lauren Cohan) from The Walking Dead. This drawing is composed of three different Maggie.. here you can see only two of them. #DigitalDrawings
Part of a series of gestural sketches of dancers in situ, done while watching dance students practice their craft. They are quick 1 to 2 minute sketches using a stylus and tablet with a laptop and Adobe Illustrator. All were done at the Roundhouse Community Centre in Vancouver, Canada as part of the Salon Series.
"Gazing into your eyes for a brief moment I seize my freedom
Just as quickly as it comes, the mind shuts down with feelings of pain
The pang of feeling separate invades my thoughts
Aching to touch your mind with my own
Aching to feel your heart with my own
Tears offer both cleansing and suffocation
In and around me
Desperate to return
The blossoming comes
No more a wife
No more a widow
No more a woman
The Goddess appears
She opens herself
She blooms in glory of the beginning
She forms herself into the shape of a key
And opens my heart
In awe and reverence the mind bows low
And forms within itself the Vision of Her
And She becomes the Way and the Substance
She becomes the Light and the Song
Until Joy brings Freedom effortlessly"

Today I met a beautiful woman in her seventies who like me under very similar circumstances lost her soul mate at a young age and had to rebuild her life. Unlike me she had three daughters to raise and for the last 30 years has not let go of the idea of depending on them and her husband’s shadow to find happiness. She yearns now to expand and transform this paradigm. Her mind is locked in a limited idea of what is still possible for her to experience and express in this life. I told her about the tools I discovered and use on my journey and invited her to tomorrow night’s event:

River Phoenix was an American actor, teen sensation, fearless star, invented Gen X cool, and could have been one of the great ones.

Wow, that took longer than I thought!
The latest digital drawing from the iPad App 'ProCreate'.
I'm rather sick at the moment, battling a head cold that has turned nasty, so while I can't sleep (everytime I swallow it feels like I'm swallowing broken glass) I thought I'd get it all finished.
The individual shorter hairs around the face and mouth are all individual strokes of my own custom thin brush. The hair around the shoulders was done using the brush 'Short Hair' I purchased from the 'Touchups' Set.
The majority of the time was spent on the eye, mouth and facial hair.
And yes, I'm lazy. After spending soo much time on this, I couldn't be bothered putting the detail into the towel that she's sitting on in the original image.
I'm not impressed with the final image after exporting via email to my laptop though. It looks darker, duller, less contrasty and the colours are off. I wish everyone could see it as it appears on the iPad!

Der Tages Spiegel's truly wonderful front-page photo of Trump on a stack of newspapers was too fantastic not to use with today's giant disaster ---the big reveal that Trump blabbed top secret intel to the visiting Russian spy handlers last week in the Oval Office.

Actress Rose' 😭:). The most ethereal, breathtaking, elegant & graceful beautiful woman on this planet 😭:). What a woman indeed :). Anyhoo :), the reference photo kinda reminded me of the legendary actress Meryl Streep when she was younger 😭:). Seriously, Rose' seemed to be destined for Hollywood 😭, just my opinion, of course :). This head profile is for a full body drawing but a smaller drawing :). Next drawing is still Jennie :). Thanks for looking. Drawn using ps cc, cintiq32pro. Enjoy, watch classic black & white movies for once 😭:) and sweet dreams :).

For all you people tired of me drawing half naked dudes I give you - HALF NAKED WOMAN. And a, uh, half naked incubus.
This was for the third day of Inktober. I had already drawn way more Inktober pieces than I thought I would. This was also not supposed to be as much of an investment as it ended up being. Somehow I always end up doing that.
More faux ink, all Photoshop from beginning to end. Hey, it's the spirit of the thing.
This piece was inspired by a backstreet I saw once in Accrington on Google Maps. I can’t remember the address though.
My recent purchase of a sketchbook and some drawing pens made me remember how much I enjoyed sketching back at school. To date I remember my countless caricatures of teachers, classmates, drawings of houses, streets and whatever else was on my mind back then. As such I wanted to try how it works in @procreate to use solely sketching brushes and keep the drawing process as natural as it can be.
One of my greatest challenges as an artist is subconsciously always trying to capture symmetry and alignment, which made this picture a real challenge with the wonky chimneys, unaligned rooftops and ascending walls of the houses on the hillside.
