Really really fast sketch that happened because what I was working on wasn't going to get done today.....so I did this instead. Hopefully today's first sketch will happen tomorrow.

The drawing tools for this App are very very simple. The thing that's distinct, is it is set up for playing the Surrealist 'Exquisite Corpse' game ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exquisite_corpse ) for 2-4 players.

However, I've been playing all the parts myself. This means that while I know what went before I can't see it, so once I say OK to the head, then I don't see it while doing the upper torso, and once I say OK to the upper torso, I can't see it while doing the lower torso, and so on. Also, unlike most other apps, it is set up for the proportions of a standing person, which has been fun to work with.

If you decide to play I recommend that you take a screen shot of each of the four stages because the file it automagically saves to the photo library at the end is much lower res. Even a screen shot of the piece at the end is better resolution than what they save, but I did not realize that in time to save high res versions of some of my early tries with this App. Grrrr.

Using parametric manipulation processes, the focus of this project is to generate a form catalog of different morphing forms to be used as a tectonic reference to inform the architecture of the Smart Car Exhibition Center.

Usually I'm using up paint after working on a plant painting, so I end up with lots of green late night self-portaits. But this one is digital so I don't know why green...

I was wiped out from completing taxes and after putting together this grid, never got around to drawing this day. So this grid of selfie with a selection of past self-portraits stands in for making art on this day.

Taped together a series of related color paint chips, scanned them into the computer, used photoshop to slice up the grid into thinner sections, overlaid photo of me working on one of my plant paintings.

para este día se me ocurrió dibujar a Cinnamoroll quién está viendo el atardecer enfrente del horizonte 🐶🌇.

For the 13th day of Inktober today is the horizon

For this day I thought of drawing Cinnamoroll who is watching the sunset in front of the horizon 🐶🌇.

Looking for answers, searching for the light...we won't find it outside, somewhere else....

The last place we look is us, within us! This is where the light is, this is where the light always was!

We are the light, we just forget it often.

This project is designed in a graduate design studio at the Academy of Art University. Using parametric manipulation processes, the focus of this project is to generate a form catalog of different morphing forms to be used as a tectonic reference to inform the architecture of the project. The final result is achieved by analyzing these forms and borrowing elements that best represent different needs of the program.
