Spooky presents us with Aoharu's Drapery Dress in Ivory, by machang Pichot. The collar falls gracefully from the left shoulder befitting a lady of the New Kingdom. The sculpted layers are reminiscent of the constantly changing patterns of the wind upon the dunes. Spooky’s skin is the oBscene’s Cleo in Sapphire Peacock. She is wearing the Aisha shape from Shapes by Kira, with Khepri hair in black from The Stringer Mausoleum.
The look is completed with shoes from Kakaue Kreations. The finishing touch of this outfit is the Sesen jewelry collection in lapis lazuli and gold, featuring a lotus motif from Caroline’s Jewelry.
Side notes- I love this dress! I'mma going to get it, so keep a look out on here for pics!
Also . . . Spooky seriously impressed me the most, out of all the models. I have been to 4 of these "fashion inspired by . . . " shows now, held by Rezzable. I've been in the past 3. Some of the models go back to the first I was in, the Crimson Shadow one. Thats when they switched to the really new Nocturne model agency. They all do a wonderful job, these gents and ladies. But seriously, Spooky brings it! It might sound funny, cause they don't say anything, they just walk and look beautiful. But she always makes my stuff look the shit! So props! you got a designer stalker now, hehe.

The Eternal Nefertari gown, by Shai Delacroix of Casa del Shai, was inspired by the Queen herself. Nefertari was the Chief Queen of Ramesses the Great. She was the symbol of everlasting life, love and beauty and depicted joyously in drawings with the Isis, the great mother goddess. One of the temples at Abu Simbel was built for her as well as the most magnificent tomb in the Valley of the Queens. She was illustrated in sheer white linen clothing as it was for all royalties during that dynasty.
Mavi wears The Eternal Nefertari in rust. Her skin is Nekhebet in Sahara by Wasabi Pills. Her shape is Kebi. Mavi’s hair is Cleo in black cherry by Inorite, ornamented with a coin tiara.

Hey if I could explaiin what this was about I probably wouldn't have done it. Quite often I find my mind speaking in textures and colors and I see images in my archives that speak to me in languages I don't understand. (it looks pretty awesome on black)

To the Ancient Egyptians, the many-seeded pomegranate was a symbol of fertility and prosperity. The colorful fruit and flower of the pomegranate are the inspiration for this playful outfit by Sofia London of LurveBite. For us today, Terry wears the short skirt version of the dress. A long skirted version depicts the pomegranate’s bloom. The outfit comes complete with a bikini, handbag, two Sun Disc crowns, Hathor cow ears, a full set of jewelry, a pomegranate for your mouth and a giant pomegranate to carry.
Terry’s hair is the Cleo Bob in caramel from Inorite. Her skin is the oBscene’s Fire and she wears the Amisi shape from Shapes by Kira. Often called the Fruit of Love, share a pomegranate with your love this Valentine’s Day.

One of my first instincts with the rust images was to make an abstract field of texture based on the idea of a wall.
This image is part of another creative-explosion-of-branching-versions that always seem be given to me. It all started with these images of a rusty wall in the little town of Anacortes Washington: www.flickr.com/photos/colvinart/sets/72157601331403286/
In these details you can see figures I created using the blend tool in illustrator. It gave me a look I really like but I'm not sure its right for this piece.

Eilley is a divine Goddess of the Nile in this ensemble by Layja Vidor for Exxess Designs. Not for the timid, the banded skirt and breast-baring bra are topped by a rayed neckpiece. Eilley dons a horned headdress featuring a traditional sun disk. Matching armbands and boots complete the look. Her skin is Efe Purple with sheared hair from PXL Creations. Her shape is Khait from Shapes by Kira.
Side notes-another I love, and really shouldn't be surprised by that. Exxess continues to make the best quality fantasy type events for these projects, and the price doesn't kill you. I buy Exxess hair on my alt, seriously cool shit, shhhh don't tell anyone tho, that I wear other hair, hehe.

Some purely 3d imagery from when I had access to big 3D machines! Not quite where I am now creatively but fun to see.
I found this variation I did on butterfly seeds for a film I worked on a while back. I kind of like ti.

This one prints out at 28" x 66" so its kind of a magnum opus
Mavi shows us an elaborately embroidered prim skirt festooned with golden palm fronds and colorful scarves, hinting at an elegant fitted skirt beneath, as she walks.
Above the Cleo Bob in morphine by Inorite, Mavi wears the Hathor Goddess Diadem by Candy Cerveau of Eye Candy Jewelry. In ancient Egyptian paintings, the goddess Hathor is often pictured wearing an imposing diadem symbolizing cow horns and the sun disk. That imagery has been amplified in this piece with the addition of another symbol of rebirth, the scarab. Carnelian and lapis accent the impressive golden headdress, crafted from sculpted prims. This crown is the perfect way to channel your inner goddess.
Side notes-They forgot to mention where the dress came from! as you can see from my title,it's Laughing Academy.

Summer presents Digit Darkes' Lotus gown. Inspired by Ancient Egyptian papyrus drawings, the feather motifs gradate to an abstract sequined lotus flower motif in a deep lapis blue on a black ground.
Summer’s skin is Taurette in sand from Wasabi Pills. Her shape is Shimei from Shapes by Kira. Her hair is Kehrpi in Black from The Stringer Mausoleum.

Another instinct was to add something figurative ontop ot eh abstract field of Ruste & Fleure. I did three versions including this blue one.

Eilley brings us the Theda Bara gown with a shirred and fitted skirt which slopes gracefully from just below the knee in front to ankle-length, revealing her Egyptian Heels from Kakaue Kreations. The formal bodice of creamy raw silk is embellished with gold, malachite and lapis lazuli adornments across both the front and back. A softly folded silken sash at her shoulder holds it in place. With the Nafretiri shape, Eilley wears the Nephthys skin in sand from Wasabi Pills.
Side Notes-again, no mention of the line that the dress came from. It's from Laughing Academy.

Mavi and Spooky are back to introduce us to two versions of our offering from Nicky Ree, The Egyptian Goddess Collection in Gold. The opaque skirt and bodice of the Egyptian Goddess perfectly set off the deep tones of Mavi’s Sahara Akhet skin from Wasabi Pills, accentuating the curves of her Akana shape from Shapes by Kira. Her hair is TSM’s Khepri, ornamented with a yellow scarab. Mavi finishes the outfit with the Kakaue Kreations Egyptian Heels.
Side notes-The Scarabs were made by C&D Designs, to go with my hair, I didn't make them, but they seemed to have not Credited Cherelle Capra, Designer/Owner of C&D Designs.
