This is a whimsical painting done in Sketch Book on my iPad Pro. I usually use Procreate. I wanted to work with the brush engine and make brushes to see how this app worked. I'm anxious to try it out on the computer. I'm disappointed in that I see no way to make and save new brushes on the iPad. I also see no way to make brushes on the computer and move them into the iPad. But that said I do see myself maybe using this app a bit. But Procreate offers so much more. Maybe I'm missing something.
We just brought Ursula ("Ooshie") home last night and today is her first day as a Digg dog. She's an 8-week-old Bernese Mountain Dog and already weighs about 20 pounds!

I hate that my focus was off on this one (I tried to sharpen it a bit in Photoshop). He's a great looking guy and this could've been a really good portrait. Sigh.

Daveed Diggs is known best for originating the roles of Marquis de Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson in "Hamilton". Born in Oakland, CA, Diggs' earliest work was in experimental theater. He went on to Brown University where he was an elite track athlete while earning a degree in theater. Back on the West Coast after college, he designed a hip-hop-based curriculum for San Francisco middle schools. When LIn-Manuel Miranda invited Diggs to read early versions of "Hamilton", he was knocked out, signing on when the show was first off-Broadway and stayed on the Broadway run until July of 2016, winning a Tony for his roles and a Grammy for the cast album. He's a vocalist and rapper in the experimental hip-hop group Clipping, had had recurring television roles on "The Get Down", "Black-ish", and "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt", and is the executive producer of "The Mayor". You'll see him soon starring on the big screen as a teacher in the film "Wonder"

I love my small plastic goose son and our matching Hot Dog costumes. (Yes, capitalized.) Something silly about me; I’ve always wanted to be a clown so I sort of clown about. I’ve been considering developing my clown character more concretely lately.
There were at least another three dogs (beyond the ones in sight) in the truck--another two in the cab and one more in the back.
