Just landed and the rotor blades are slowing down.

I have never had a Dog like Buddy that likes to run for the sure joy of running.

Seems pretty pleased with herself.

Another build for the ABS Challenge, representing the Olive Green corner. This seed piece for Round 1.8 is the weird dark orange 2x2 curved top brick.

The first thing that came to my mind when I looked at the seed part was a hotdog. It's the perfect color for one anyway. This one comes with ketchup and onions and a side of fries.

After standing in ice cold temps with a malfunctioning camera since 3 AM, I was able to capture some shots that make it worth freezing your tah-tahs off.

Ladies, FYI: Pocket warmers aren't just for pockets. ;)

This was a particularly rough trip, as I was going through some brutal nerve pain and didn't sleep, eat much, was dizzy and nauseous the entire time, but I got through it. Staying at Curry Village in unheated tents without electricity in the snow was not easy. What I do recall was thinking I had made my wish come true: Yosemite with snow, I had witnessed two nights of firefall, and I truly had the best friends looking out for me.

Shorty get down, good Lord

Baby got 'em open all over town

Strictly biz, don't play around

Cover much ground, got game by the pound

Getting paid is a forte

Each and every day, to play away

I can't get her out of my mind

I think about the girl all the time

East side to the west side

Pushing phat rides, it's no surprise

She got tricks in the stash

Stacking up cash

Fast when it comes to the gas

By no means average

As long as she's got to have it

Baby, you're a perfect ten

(I like the way you work it

No diggity, I gotta bag it up)

[x4]

She's got class and style

Seen knowledge by the mile,

Baby never act wild

Very low key on the profile

Catching feelings is a no,

Let me tell you how it goes

Curves the words, spins the verbs

Lovers it curves so freak what you heard

Hey yo, hey yo, hey yo, hey yo

Man that girl look good

Hey yo, hey yo, hey yo, hey yo

Play on, play on

Hey yo, hey yo, hey yo, hey yo

She's got class and style

Hey yo, hey yo, hey yo, hey yo

No diggity no downtown

(I like the way you work it

No diggity, I gotta bag it up)

Here are the results of my trip round the north of Trotternish to try to capture some of the usual scenes in the snow. As you can see, snow was in short supply and for most of the time, the sky was a clear blue. Not really what I was looking for but it was great to be out in the fresh air on a beautiful winter's morning.

This is the township of Digg beneath the Trotternish Ridge.

PLEASE COMMENT IF YOU FAVORITE!

So recently I found a great Civil War show on Amazon, called Mercy Street. I binged both seasons, since it was so good, and decided to make figures from it.

I highly recommend watching Mercy Street!

So anyways, I made a few of my favorite characters.

LtR-

Jedidiah Foster:

I used my Logan torso and coat, because his outfit in the show is very similar. The legs are dark blue, so I didn't fully steal Logan's outfit. His head is from my BossVerse Harrison Wells, with a Superman hairpiece. He's my favorite character from the show, and I think I nailed his likeness.

Mary Phinney:

So this fig... I used a Sand Blue torso as a base, and made a paper skirt. Everything is painted by me, even the plaid design on the skirt, which I think turned out okay. The head is from Star Wars, with a little of the mouth painted over, and the eyebrow color changed. Her hair is from my Leia.

Samuel Diggs:

He's the last one I made, but I really like how he turned out. His head is from Star Wars(?) and the hair is Finn's. His torso is from LoneRanger, with a reject Jyn coat. His legs are from Jurassic World. I like the simplicity of his outfit.

Overall, I really love how everyone turned out.

I might make Emma Green, but I'm not sure yet.

Seriously though, go watch this show guys! You won't regret it!

Thanks!

It’s been a stifling week in SE Queensland with continuous high temperatures and worse still, killer humidity.

So everyone needs relief from the heat. Tuesday mid morning found staff of the Hound Dog Doggy Day Care with van loads of their charges down in the Pine River at Brighton giving them a cooling swim. Like all groups, there were some who didn’t want to go in, but for those who did it would have been wonderful relief and just to top off the day, a photo for Mum and Dad!

Brighton, Brisbane.

We were blessed with a gorgeous week in the Ottawa area, and Dad made sure to take extra time for the two of us to enjoy it.

Typically now we take the bike onto the Prescott-Russell Trail so I can run when I want to, which is often, and fast when I get a hankering, and it's especially good on week days when there are less people.

Lately we've been taking a side trail into the Mer Bleue region to a favorite sandy spot where a guy can get in some serious digging. Though this is not my normal behavior, it's fun! I like to undermine my ball when I dig, so it drops further and further into the hole I'm making. Then I can't stand it any more and snatch it up to bring back to Dad. Will he throw it, or drop it back in the hole?

I really dig this game!

Really wouldn't want to be the rental company having to deal with this...

Also, Fuji glass is stunning... Can't believe how sharp this picture is corner to corner.
