Nikon D850, stable diffusion

In this performance, the first analogical diffusion of a street-art work in the world. Street art, very popular for all the web users, is virtually unknown in other main stream medias. This attempt shows the print in 10 copies of an ephemeral street art work ("Night Train") and its spread via mail, door to door. I have picked 10 residencies randomly, around my town, on 18th May 2014. Each copy is signed and numbered. The delivery was carried out by bicycle. (Mascalucia, Pedara, Trecastagni, Nicolosi, ITALIA - time spent approx 2 hours).

Nothing clear in this one - diffused light about 50 minutes after dawn due to heavy humidity . These buildings are approximately a mile away so shooting through a lot of 'mist' type conditions. Shot at 6:50 am on 3 September 2010.

A model developed in a paper (http://davidtjones.wordpress.com/publications/a-model-for-evaluating-potential-web-based-education-innovations/) - based on Rogers' diffusion of innovations work - to inform a process by which developers of innovations can gain greater understanding of what might happen when the innovation is introduced and how they might respond.

Here's a quick and dirty shot of my supercheap, homemade diffusion panel.

The recipe:

1 Mainstays 200 Thread Count White Flat Sheet (Full) -- $6 at Walmart

1 Mainstays Rolling Garment Rack (68" H x 35" W x 17" D) -- $10 at Walmart

2 2" spring clamps -- $0.99 each at Home Depot

I tried shooting through one layer of the sheet, but I still had a hotspot from the strobe. Folding the sheet in half--so I am shooting through two layers--seems to diffuse the light well: www.flickr.com/photos/goldbean/2862801682/

Total cost: $18.

Holding the back cover on top of the assembled sheets, curl bottom half of the sheets and insert through the central slot above the front cover. The front and back covers should be visible next to each other.
