But something evil is moving through the back streets of the city, and sinister plans are being laid for Bond in Berlin...

DEADPOOL 2015 # 2

That's right- the Merc with the Mouth may make money for missions of murky morality...but he's become the most popular hero in the world for it. Eat that, Spidey! The world belongs to...Deadpool. BATMAN AND ROBIN ETERNAL # 6 (from Last Week)

Grayson, Red Robin and Red Hood fracture, not knowing whether they can trust each other or the legacy of Batman. In the past, Robin gets his chance to redeem himself in Batman's eyes and take on Scarecrow.

Always liked these two together. Happy Batman Day!

Holy freezing my berries off in these tights Batman!

1/6 Scale Custom Action Figure

"Your time's up Tockman!"

"Cut the jokes, Dick, we're really on a... *snicker* ...bit of a time crunch"

Looks like The Clock King's hide out wasn't as hidden as he'd hoped. Nightwing and The Flash seems to have trailed him back to where he hangs is fob watch, only to find his trove of stolen goods from the past few weeks! Will the Clock King come over to the side of justice, or put up a fight? We'll just have to wait and see!

If you couldn't already tell, we've got another four part series on our hands, with a few new characters on the table! The King's design is influenced loosely on the BTAS's appearance of the character. That was in fact my first exposure to the character, and I absolutely loved the stories he was featured in.

Anyway, just wanted to do a bit of homage to the character and it turned into a series, so I hope you guys enjoy what is to come :)

"We're bringing her in now."

Looks like Harley's fun will be temporarily postponed.

"Look out!" Flash shouted as Clock King drew a gun and switched on his time altering device. "Think fast!" he mocked as he began to fade from Grayson's vision. Barry only had miliseconds before that gun would go off! He watched as Tockman's device altered the speedforce around him. "Com'on Barry gotta think quick!"

The stakes have been risen and William Tockman is no man for negotiation. What is Flash going to do to save his friend? Will he stop the shot in time?!

We'll just have to wait till tomorrow and see ;)

Hands down my favorite modern Batman costume.

"You know, I could get used to carrying a sword! Perhaps Diana would give me some lessons?"

"Don't bet on it, Barry"

Looks like The Flash was just fast enough to stop The Clock King after all! Sword beats Time Toys, apparently. At any rate, it's another case closed for these two heroes!

Thanks to everybody who kept up with this set! I always love doing these, and I'm glad you enjoy them as much as I like making them :)

Through the creations that I build, I hope to inspire other young (or perhaps older) LEGO builders to unleash their inner creativity. We all need a positive way to express ourselves, so let's let LEGO be an extension of us. Your creativity belongs to you, and nobody can take that away. Build what you want to build, and how you want to build it.

Well here are my versions of Robin from past to present.

Dick Grayson

This is a mock up of his "2nd suit", when he's roughly 17-18 yrs old, before he quits and becomes Nightwing. I'm thinking of erasing the logo and applying a more classic style logo like I did with Damian.

Jason Todd

Let me start with saying that his hair is actually the dark orange version of this hairpiece, I just couldn't find it. This might be Jason's 2nd suit (still tweaking the design), when he's roughly 16-17 yrs old. Before he bites the dust. Thinking of erasing this "R" as well.

Tim Drake

This is his 1st suit. Pretty straight forward.

Stephanie Brown

Here's what Steph looked like while she briefly moonlighted as Robin.

Damian Wayne

Here's the angry, "I'm going to beat all of you", little brat himself. He has a small Robin insignia decal.

You just can't get rid of a bomb!

"I feel like my body started moving faster than my brain was for moment there, but I caught up with myself. If I take out the device and disarm him before he pulls that trigger I might just be able to save Grayson!"

In what would look like a fraction of a millisecond, Barry launched himself forward in hopes to save his friend in time!

Do you think The Flash will be fast enough to prevent The Clock King from bringing harm? Find out tomorrow for the exciting conclusion!

Just a quickie of the Four.

The Batman Family or Bat Family for short is a network of likeminded crimefighters who operate in and around Gotham City, with Batman as its head.

I cannot take credit for all the minifigs you see in this picture. But I will tell you who I obtained them from. Now, starting left to the right.

1) The standard Nightwing LEGO minifig from the Arkham Asylum set from several years ago. Nothing special there, besides it's Nightwing.

2) My custom LEGO Nightwing shown previously on my Flickr page here.

3) This custom red Nightwing based on his new outfit from the New 52 DC Comics universe comes from Customize/Accessorize/your/minifig eBay store which is maintained by poppunkmunky. Poppunkmunky does some really great work, and I wish I knew how he does it. Somehow he actually prints the images on to the heads and torsos, just like LEGO does. And he does back prints as well. This red Nightwing is actually the 3rd minifig I have purchased from poppunkmunky. I also purchased Gambit and Dark Phoenix. Most of his/her work matches your standard LEGO figs, others are clearly higher quality images that are shrunk to fit the minifig torso. The printing quality is what really set these a part. It's very hard to notice that they are a custom. The give away to me is that the prints are a bit shinier than standard figs. I did have to paint the eyes in white though. They were left flesh tone.

They are a bit pricy though. Usually the store has a one figure for auction and one for Buy It Now, which usually average $25. I ended up winning this NIghtwing in auction for $25 and I don't regret it at all.

4) I will call this one the Arkham City Nightwing minifig. It comes from REGAL CUSTOMS eBay store, maintained by onlinesailin. This figure is awesome. I am not sure you can tell, but onlinesailin actually printed the blue stripe down his arms, though it doesn't go down to his hands. I love it. The printing job uses a different technique than the poppunkmunky. It's like the lines are embossed on to the minifig, giving it some texture. But the level of detail is amazing. It's printed on all four sides. My only complaint is that the hair is painted black. It was originally that light brown hair. Based on the shine and gloss, i thought it was stock, but when I touched it, it was noticeably tacky, which gave it away. Still, I am not complaining. I think this one may be my favorite.

He didn't come cheap though. I paid $37 for him, not including shipping. Most of the really custom figs I'd say are a bit more expensive than poppunkmunky's store. This is the only one I own from onlinesailin though. I think I may need to purchase some more before i can really determine who reigns supreme.

Here are the links to the two stores I mentioned. I have to get these guys' names out there cause their work is astonishing and you shouldn't have to be searching for them so hard.

gee-kyuu... gee-kyuu... Whose statue is this?

I'm Batman.

gee-kyuu... gee-kyuu... That statue does not look like you.

It doesn't have to. I'm Batman.

gee-kyuu... gee-kyuu...

Alarming asthma, Batman!! This guy doesn't get it! You're clearly Batman!

gee-kyuu... gee-kyuu... You will tell me whose statue this is.

Whose statue are you?

gee-kyuu... gee-kyuu... That... doesn't make sense.

Robin: A meeting with the Batman! Alarming Acts of Arrogance!

Shi: Daredevil said he wanted both groups to get to know each other up front and start out on the same page. With the warp open and what looks to be another war coming.

Robin: I had best relay this to the Batman right away!

Shi: I think so. Daredevil said the train station had more 616 metahumans every day.

Robin: Trains! Why is it always trains!?

End of Interlude 9!

Next: Chapter 19 and The Drawing! How people come to Paprihaven!

Some more custom LEGOs that I cannot take credit for. These from from Flickr's own Deathstroke (Batbrick) www.flickr.com/photos/batbrick/

The main portion and most important that comes from Deathstroke are the torsos. They were designed by him.

The Batman torso is of Dick Grayson when he was Batman. I used the more recent Batman head from the Superheroes sets since it had the one side that was smiling. More appropriate for Dick Grayson than the brooding Bruce Wayne.

The Damian Wayne head is a print from Deathstroke. I need go in and add some white to the eyes though.

Otherwise, they are really great pieces from Deathstroke. I actually have many more pieces torsos and heads from him I have to piece together and get on Flickr. He does some great work and if you do get a chance to get any from him... do it.

For when you gotta get the job done.
