First encounter with the Devil, in the wild. Dare not dream of second encounter.

In late 2008, the Tasmanian devil was listed as ‘Endangered’ on the Red List of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN) – widely considered the most authoritative system for classifying species in terms of their risk of extinction.
Devil's Garden State Park was a great photo stop. Located near Escalante, Utah about 10 miles down an unimproved road named Hole in the Rock Road. It had some really interesting rock formations and we had the entire park to ourselves for most of our visit.

Neat rock formation at Devil's Lake. The conditions were pretty horrid all day, so I got a shot with no climbers in it.
