Atop the devils kitchen, the sea breeze is a roar, to my back is jagged cliffs and to my sides are more. i sit amongst the soft grass, the sea spray clouds the air, and with this pic of trees and grass i hope to take you there...

Shots taken on a walk up Devils Kitchen in Snowdonia National Park

Devils Tower rises above the surrounding grassland and Ponderosa pine forests like a rocky sentinel. Northern Plains tribes have worshipped near this remarkable geologic formation for thousands of years. Fur trappers, explorers, and settlers alike were awed by the tower's majesty. In 1906, President Theodore Roosevelt established Devils Tower as our nation's first national monument. Many have gazed at the Tower and wondered, "How did this amazing formation form?"

yet another appearance of the gusbuster on 365, snuggling on the bed with us for a bit before we go to sleep... he can't ever get up on the bed without bringing a toy, and this time the lucky comfort object of choice was his bad cuz, which we refer to simply as the "devil ball". it's definitely one of his favorites.

Devils Lake State Park, Baraboo, WI

This magnificent three-arched bridge, probably dates from the 12th or 13th century, and is now a scheduled ancient monument.

At the apex of the bridge, there’s a deep impression in the stone – often referred to as the devil’s handprint. The folk tale surrounding the handprint tells of an old woman who lived on the banks of the Lune with a few animals. One night her cow strayed across the river and would not be tempted back, no matter how much she coaxed and implored. The devil appeared to her, offering to build a bridge in exchange for the soul of the first body to cross it. The devil constructed the bridge with his own hands, leaving a print in the wet stone. The next day the woman met the devil at the bridge and agreed to fulfil her part of the bargain. She took a bun from her bag and threw it across the bridge, whereupon her small dog raced across to retrieve it. The devil, in a fit of rage at being outwitted, howled in anger and vanished in a cloud of brimstone.

Tom at the Dyke

Serrano ham, Old Bay, fried onion...

IT WAS A FUN APRIL 1ST at the SAINT STUPID DAY'S PARADE in SAN FRANCISCO. There is no other event in the world where folks gather to HAVE FUN and poke fun at the embedded horrid capitalist exploitation of the world.

Everyone came in costume...ADDA came as a REPUBLICAN BURNING IN HELL (which we all know in our deepest of hearts is where all REPUBLICANS and RIGHT WING A-0's will end up) ! i shouted MERRY CHRISTMAS to all the business people in the Financial District who stopped and stared in utter confusion.

Everyone gathered at the EMBARCADERO then proceeded to the WORKERS STATUE. There in honor of CLOWNS WITHOUT BOARDERS they put a 'red clown nose' on one of the statues! ADDA DADA got the crowd cheering 'HERO' for the guy who put the nose on the statue.

then to the PACIFIC STOCK EXCHANGE for the wonderful spoof...SOCK EXCHANGE...everyone exchanged socks & then tossed them in the air! One of ADDA DADA's Christmas SANTAs socks were found and declared a SAINT STUPID HOLY RELIC! (you so know i loved that)

Onward we went to the BANKER's HEART...the big, black marble rock in front of BANK OF AMERICA...where everyone tossed their loose pennies at the banker's black greedy heart! (This is just like the muslims in Mecca who toss rocks at the black stone which represents the devil..)

There was tons of good fun, great signs, good vibes, political statements, and incredible costumes

Good luck that the videos go on JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE tonight

From Little Round Top

Devils Tower National Monument, Wyoming, United States

A group of people climbing Devils Tower National Monument. Devils Tower was formed by magma pushing against the earth's surface. As the magma cooled, hexagonal columns formed and were later revealed as surrounding sedimentary rocks eroded away. The cracks left in between the columns make Devils Tower a popular rock climbing attraction. The formation protrudes 1,267 feet above the surrounding terrain. A frontal view of the tower gives an idea as to the scale.
