A day in the life of a Community Development Worker.
I'm currently managing a community gardening project - after 3 months of digging (or should I say "excavating" as there's only about an inch of top soil on the old school foundations!) it's beginning to look really lovely!

I decided that I wanted to create a piece including some of the techniques used by the artists I have researched. This led me to paint an acrylic portrait of my friend Abi, using both a paintbrush and a pallet knife. I then decided to add in some of the doodle features included in Macarthur's work- However I was not sure what to do so I experimented with multiple different designs until I created one I loved and wanted to include on my piece.
