Allá en otro tiempo,cuando los hombres llegaron a Cudillero,Deva, diosa del mar, se hizo peña y salió de entre las aguas.
Fue ella la que dio los hijos a los marineros pixuetos y la Peña El Rebeón donde recogían a las niñas.
Esta leyenda aun perdura contada por los abuelos para que siglo tras siglo,desde aquellos tiempos,los pixuetos sigan viniendo de La Deva y las pixuetas de El Rebeón.
