Hi ya! My name is Detective Vince Magnotta, but everyone just calls me "Vinnie." I am a dog that is full of personality and character. I am really friendly, soft-souled and curious about everything ... that's where the "detective" part of my name comes in. I am 1 year old and I weigh 44 lbs. I did well in my one-on-one temperament test with both male and female dogs. I am active, energetic and playful - a total goofball who loves life. I think people are great and I enjoy the companionship, attention and affection. I am looking for a home with loving people who will spend time with me, teach me all the great things that every dog should know and exercise with me. I love to run in the yard and to play with toys. I enjoy rolling in the grass and soaking up the sunshine. I am a super sweet boy who just wants someone to love for life. Please give me a chance! Adoption fee: $75. Adopt a pair: $115. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, 60 days of free pet insurance and microchip.
I live at the Oakland County Animal Control and Pet Adoption Center at 1700 Brown Rd in Auburn Hills. You can visit me there any time the shelter is open. The shelter will not put me up for adoption because of my appearance, so my only way out of the shelter alive is through a rescue.
TO ADOPT: apply online: www.pawsforliferescue.org. Complete the adoption/foster application and a volunteer will contact you to answer questions and to schedule a meet-n-greet.

The camera is in a cardboard box labelled "ENGEL - FEITKNECHT DOUANNE SUISSE" together with part of a plate holder (which is of a larger size than would be used in the camera) but has the same label. Probably late 19th century. Of simple design, some parts with an adjacent letter or number possibly referencing user instructions.

The acorns along this portion of our hike were dropped by nearby pin oak tree (Quercus palustris). Here, one of the Prince brothers takes a closer look at this mighty tree.
