The Desolation Wilderness is just west of lake Tahoe. It was some of the most beautiful scenery i have ever seen. The terrain is quite uneven through out most of the trail.

Desolation Wilderness, Lake Echo to Eagle Falls, two days, about 20 miles
I was in Southsea, on a blustery evening when I took this image.
There were no people apart from the odd runner doing their rounds of the seafront.
It was completely desolate, making me feel rather uncomfortable but somewhat at home.
Darksome overcast. The sky is not in its good mood that day and it keeps you downcast, and low.
These stark shots are taken at the border of State of Selangor and Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia.
