Some photos from the amazing show by Les Studios de Cirque, as the opener for the Perth International Arts Festival.

It was a stunning display of people gliding on ziplines or abseiling down to the mortals, tossing feathers as they went. The cables were attached to the tops of city buildings - so they truly were in the place of angels.

2 tonnes of feathers were dropped on St George's terrace and the park next to it.

The visual effect was awesome!

I found it very hard to photograph, there were only spotlights and things were moving quickly. Eventually figured out that spot metering was going to work the best. Here are some good ones.... I wish they were doing a 2nd night so I could have another go!! :)

This fabulous, half-timbered, thatched and, no doubt, very expensive property is in Upsher Green near Great Waldingfield, Suffolk. The reeds for the thatch are grown less than 500m away.
