I've decided, within my surf company, to created a specific range of clothing called 'On The Edge'. These are just some initial logo designs.

Drawing inspiration from the lavish and intricate details of classic Baroque architecture, Dulce Alexandra seeks to create a cohesive parallel between design which is both elegant and also dramatic, modern and yet classically timeless, simple — yet juxtaposed artistically with an element of ornamental grandeur. Her love of the Victorian period is more contemporarily and seamlessly integrated into modern fashion when coupled with her passion for designing with a “pop of color”. Dulce’s vision extends by making a big statement through giving limelight to beautiful details. It was her love of detail, which internally illuminated her passion for creating couture. Couture, she’s realized, is a realm of design, which allows her creativity to run freely without worry of encumbrance. A graduate of the Art Institute of Dallas and known to those around her as an all-around creative soul, Dulce’s design work diversely extends with ease from the confines of women’s wear and graciously envelopes the worlds of men’s accessories, jewelry, women’s couture and children’s wear, which has manifested itself in a line by the name of Duck and England. I design for the elegant, classic and bold. And it is in this world of design that I find my voice and am able to weave and marry the realms of stark reality with that which so whimsically resounds inside my limitless dreams.

My wife and I traveled to Santa Rosa, CA on September 22, 2006 to photograph the 76 Woodstock statues (part of the city's “Summer of Woodstock” celebration), which by that time were all gathered in the baseball field downhill from the Charles M. Schulz museum.

U.S. Architectural Visions for the Western Hemisphere

"Late in the nineteenth century, U.S. commercial and political interests began eyeing the countries of Latin America as plantations, farms, and mines to be accessed by new shipping lines and railroads. As their desire to dominate commerce and trade in the Western Hemisphere grew, these U.S. interests promoted the concept of "Pan-Americanism" to link the United States and Latin America and called on U.S. architects to help set the stage for Pan-Americanism's development. Through international expositions, monuments, and institution building, U.S. architects translated the concept of a united Pan-American sensibility into architectural or built form. In the process, they also constructed an artificial ideological identity—a fictional Pan-America peopled with imaginary Pan-American citizens, the hemispheric loyalists who would support these projects and who were the presumed benefactors of this presumed architecture of unification.
Designing Pan-America presents the first examination of the architectural expressions of Pan-Americanism. Concentrating on U.S. architects and their clients, Robert Alexander González demonstrates how they proposed designs reflecting U.S. presumptions and projections about the relationship between the United States and Latin America. This forgotten chapter of American architecture unfolds over the course of a number of international expositions, ranging from the North, Central, and South American Exposition of 1885–1886 in New Orleans to Miami's unrealized Interama fair and San Antonio's HemisFair '68 and encompassing the Pan American Union headquarters building in Washington, D.C. and the creation of the Columbus Memorial Lighthouse in the Dominican Republic.
Robert Alexander Gonzalez is the 2010-2011 Cejas Scholar at Florida International University, School of Architecture. A historian and registered architect, Gonzalez is the founding editor of the bilingual journal Aula: Architecture & Urbanism in Las Américas, which is devoted to the architecture, urbanism, and public art of Latin America and U.S. Latinos."

Near the middle of the photo, one can make out the council's *original* Magic Safety-Paint line marking a short cycle lane.
The initial cycle lane was several inches wide, but not enough inches to represent a serious attempt at safety. Following complaint, the lane was widened and protection was slightly enhanced by Armadillos, the intermittent rubber bumpers that are visible (close-ups to follow).

We'll get you started learning a beautiful italic writing and go from there as the group desires. You'll learn the tricks of the trade that make calligraphy easier than it looks. I'll bring a variety of tools and papers for students to try. Each student will take home a calligraphy marker, assortment of paper and practice sheets.

This is a Gatsby themed flyer for a dance company I work with. I just wanted to draft a few ideas for them without spending too much time. If you pay close attention I redesigned the two letter initial-logo into four T's (to match the tour T's). I'm not sold on the font placement but that's alright~ I'd be redesigning the entire golden structure anyways. I wouldn't want to copyright infringe or anything :)

Henry and Chris and their two kids live very much in the 21st century - technology is at the centre of their every day. From social networking, to email, family administration and listening to music; the design of the home needs to reflect this.
A detail of Webb's frieze in the Green Dining Room at the South Kensington Museum, now the V&A. Philip Webb was responsible for making measured drawings of the rooms, for designing the overall schemes and almost all of the patternwork, and also for supervising the work. Around the edge of the ceiling is a colourful gilded frieze with egg-and-dart moulding and a series of framed blue panels in which golden hounds chase hares, interrupted by oak trees. Golden sunbursts and crown imperial fritillaries are set around the panels set against cream. The framed panels vaguely resemble the sort of moulded decoration that would appear on Jacobean wooden chests.
The upper wall is covered with moulded fruiting olive-branches on a mid greenish-blue background, which reminds me of the freize in the great hall on the top floor of Hardwick Hall in Derbyshire. The window and woodwork mouldings are picked out in a deep blue-green pine colour, matching the deep fielded lower wall panelling.
The V&A, as befits a museum of applied and fine arts, is particularly rich in Pre-Raphaelite materials. Here are the results from searching the V&A Collection for Philip Webb:
