” Trying to find some good inside of me. But all I seem to see Is the beast that lies within… The beast I try to hide Deep down inside, But it keeps finding its way up to my mind. Corrupting my thoughts Controlling my actions…. I don’t know what has become of me but I like what I see…. Watching myself change Becoming what once felt so strange. Thoughts becoming deranged I’m in the middle of myself Feeling so estranged Divided between the beast within “

The Mouchet Accenteur is a discreet bird leading a life hidden in the thickets it frequents. But as long as it feels safe, it can be observed at leisure when it moves on the ground in an open environment in search of food, because it is not particularly shy. Another good, and probably the best, opportunity to watch it is during the breeding season, when the male stands prominently on top of a bush or small tree to sing. He can stay there for long minutes before stealthily disappearing into his element. On the other hand, in the winter season, it is dead calm, simply punctuated by brief cries when disturbed. Foraging on the ground is done in short nervous jumps, the wagging tail in small vertical movements, and since the bird is often the color of the earth, it can easily go unnoticed if not careful.
Image taken behind a camouflage net and in a natural environment.
PS: A big thank you to everyone who chooses to watch, comment and love my photos. It is very appreciated, as you noticed, I do not answer any more directly following your comment just to say in fact "thank you and good day", but in return I pass to leave a small mark with you on one or more of your editions. thank you for your understanding
Wood Pigeon (Columba palumbus). This wood pigeon was trying to keep cool by oscillating his throat. However, he just looked a bit deranged to me!

In the meantime, Sieur Martin, a couple of Chevalier guignette came to stop in front of me and at a good distance for about twenty good minutes before being disturbed by a walker and his dog. To multiply the sessions of watch on the same spot, it ends sooner or later to pay, the luck factor plays an important role but the luck sometimes has to provoke it.

Taken @ the beautiful Tacoma Bay
I made minimal edits to the image, all that has been done is a little bit of fading of the sky and made the picture a bit brighter than the original.
The little story and song that came to mind when I saw these two turtles :-)
Once upon a time there were two turtles living at the beautiful Tacoma Bay. The one reached out to the other turtle, and said to the one who had gone into his shell for protection:
All of those nights before this
They're not like nights ahead
Inside there's space between us
Of things that won't need said
Words like, "God I miss you"
So I am reaching out to you.

"Reaching Out To You"
God I wish that you could see me
See my soul and my desire
Yeah I wish that you could hear me
Through the sound of all these fires
If it feels like I could hate you
'Cause the silence can't be hacked
Know I'm screaming out forever
Please come back, come back, come back
All of those nights before this
They're not like nights ahead
It's like there's space between us
Of things that won't need said
Words like, "God I miss you"
For I'm still reaching out to you
Through these deranged horizons
The things we always knew
What the Hell are we still doing
In the shadows of the night?
Let the light and all the grace you have
Just obliterate me right
Know the last time that I saw you
Is not the last page of the book
Yeah maybe I can hear the thunder
But all I need is just one look
All of those nights before this
They're not like nights ahead
Inside there's space between us
Of things that won't need said
Words like, "God I miss you"
For I'm still reaching out to you
Through these deranged horizons
The things we always knew
Afraid to fall without you, so I'll wait
Sweetest of my sins, the world create
Holding onto love and hope you do
I see it in your eyes, the memories
Love me like no one in history
Holding onto love and hope you do
All of those nights before this
They're not like nights ahead
Inside there's space between us
Of things that won't need said
Words like, "God I miss you"
For I'm still reaching out to you
Through these deranged horizons
The things we always knew
Through these deranged horizons
I'm still reaching out to you
"Artistry"
by Jacob Lee
I let every thought
Thread a weft of yarn
Weaving through the warps
A tapestry of us
If I make my arms, the home you seek
If I sway my brush, would I capture thee?
If I hang your scars, in a gallery
As a work of artistry
May I clear your slate and wipe your conscience
Lay it on another shelf
I'll be anything you ever ask
I'll take your memories upon myself
If you keep my thoughts and thieve my wisdom
I will find another shell
I don't ever want to be the selfish reason
You don't ever find yourself
I felt every though
Claw the strands apart
Weaving into knots
A travesty of us
If I stay my arms, and I pull your sleeve
If I snap my brush, would you trust in me?
If I trace your scars, with the broken piece
As a work of artistry
May I clear your slate and wipe your conscience
Lay it on another shelf
I'll be anything you ever ask
I'll take your memories upon myself
If you keep my thoughts and thieve my wisdom
I will find another shell
I don't ever want to be the selfish reason
You don't ever find yourself
Watching the needle thread through every pore
She told me shading made everything more
Beautiful but I don't see it at all
I'm more deranged than before
Standing in paints as it pools on the ground
Colours of empathy blending with doubt
Witnessing everything melting around
Until I drown
May I clear your slate and wipe your conscience
Lay it on another shelf
I'll be anything you ever ask
I'll take your memories upon myself
If you keep my thoughts and thieve my wisdom
I will find another shell
I don't ever want to be the selfish reason
You don't ever find yourself
May I clear your slate and wipe your conscience
Lay it on another shelf
I'll be anything you ever ask
I'll take your memories upon myself
If you keep my thoughts and thieve my wisdom
I will find another shell
I don't ever want to be the selfish reason
You don't ever find yourself

The Yellow Wagtail breeds in wetlands including wet meadows, from flooded grasslands to the edge of freshwater marshes and lakes, and locally in cultivated areas and large forest clearings in northern distribution. .
Outside the breeding season, it frequents similar habitats and almost all kinds of open grassland or waterfront.
The majority of subspecies feed primarily on wet meadows, but also on bare and open soils along rivers and lakes or other wetlands, and also on drier grasslands and cereal crops.
During migration and in winter, the Yellow Wagtail can be seen around herds of cattle or hordes of large mammals, taking advantage of insects disturbed by their passage.

It is the most common and widespread wild duck in all of Europe. Duck on the surface, he looks for his food in the shallow waters by only plunging his head. It is said that he "dabbles". Living in cold waters, mallards are often seen in urban areas and frequent gardens that have a pond (or water nearby) and dense vegetation to nest. It is sometimes established on larger pools, for food and, if not disturbed, it nests even in gardens.

Sometimes... when sleep gives me a wide berth, a small LED book is my salvation. With the help of the small light, 8 x 12 cm or 3.14 x 4.72 inch, I can read comfortably in my bed without disturbing my husband. If necessary I can charge it, so it is almost climate neutral.
I wish you a good start into the new week and a successful HMM .
Thanks for your visit, comment and star.

A very nice meeting that made me happy that day! I had set up the camouflage net between two trees and I was hoping for the arrival of a Chevreuil, that it was not my surprise to see the young Fox arrive of the year in the middle of the afternoon, a little disturbed and annoyed by the infernal rattling Nikon he did not want to venture closer despite my insistence on imitating the screams of the injured mouse to attract his attention, I hope to see him again as soon as the weather will allow.

Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the Universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the whole Universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the products of a deranged imagination :-)

Been in pain like me?
Bought a hundred dollar bottle
of Champagne like me?
Just to pour that mother f cker
down the drain like me?
Would you use your water bill
to dry the stain like me?
Are you high enough without
the Mary Jane like me?
Do you tear yourself apart
to entertain like me?
Do the people whisper bout you
on the train like me?
Saying that you shouldn't waste
your pretty face like me?
And all the people say

Are you deranged like me?

The weeks go by faster and faster, but I must admit being tempted by some rather special weather conditions that we had for the month of February. Rain, snow and sleet that day, February 10, didn't seem to bother the birds or affect their appetites. So I took a break and took the time to take some pictures.
Here this beautiful male Pine Grosbeak who is soaked by the rain and who is now under a torrent of sleet. Very gray weather and poor light...

A new species for my gallery the little egret not easy to approach.
I always publish with my photo archives.
There is still sanitary confinement.
Take care of yourself above all.
Depending on the circumstances, the little egret may be silent or vocal.
When disturbed or faced with a context of aggressive interaction, she may utter an isolated hoarse cry "raaah" or repeated "krah krah krah".
This is the cry you hear when you disturb her on her fishing grounds, for example.

Primate DNA is only five percent different from ours. Like us, they feel jealousy, envy, love, shame, grief, depression... They are very social beings, they are sensitive and each one has a different personality, according to the experts, as happens in humans. They develop tools for specific purposes, which involves reasoning, anticipating the future and acting with the tool. They adopt orphans, which demonstrates social bonds, empathy and altruism. They have self-awareness, cooperative problem-solving and learning by example and experience, so they have symbolic capacity and a culture of their own, which they pass on from one generation to the next. Chimpanzees even surpass humans in certain memory tasks. An ape at the age of two is able to do small sums and use tools, while a two year old does not even know how to do sums or reason the why of the tool. They give pets to their children and they even learn words in sign language, being able to establish a conversation with their caregiver. They are able to teach their offspring sign language so that they can communicate with their caregivers. And so on. And they share a very important trait with humans, a trait not found in any other animal... laughter.
This image is dedicated to Bobby. Bobby was a chimpanzee used for decades as a laboratory animal at the Coulston Foundation in Alamogordo, New Mexico. He was born in captivity and at a very young age participated in biomedical experiments. By the age of 19, he had been anaesthetised more than 250 times and biopsied as many times. His life was spent in solitude inside a tiny metal cage. His body was bruised and scarred. In a deeply depressed state, he was incessantly self-harming, a clear sign that he intended to end his life. In 2002 he was transferred to Save the Chimps, a chimpanzee sanctuary in Louisiana, USA. Dedicated to Jeannie. Jeannie was in the service of science for nine years. At the age of six, she began her career in the pharmaceutical laboratories of Merck, Sharpe and Dohme. Shortly afterwards she was donated to the Buckshire Corporation and ended up at LEMSIP, Laboratory for Experimental Medicine and Surgery in Primates in New York at the age of 22. During that time she participated in several invasive experimental protocols including repeated vaginal douching, multiple cervical, liver and lymph node biopsies. She was infected with HIV and hepatitis C, and participated in rhinovirus vaccination protocols. She was anaesthetised more than 200 times. She died at the age of 31 at the Fauna Foundation, Canada's only primate sanctuary. Dedicated to Newt. Newt was born in 1979 at LEMSIP. At the age of four months he was sold to the Southwest National Primate Research Center in San Antonio, Texas. Newt was HIV-positive and was widely exposed to hepatitis B virus. Before he was four years old, he began intermittently self-harming. In 2003 he had his canines removed. Newt's clinical reports indicated that he had bites and lacerations on his hands, fingers, thighs, arms, legs, wrists and scrotum. A psychiatric report determined that Newt was in a profound state of insanity and derangement. He was attempting to commit suicide and end his life. This image is dedicated to all primates who have suffered psychological and physical torture, deprivation of liberty, abominable experiments and death in scientific laboratories, pharmaceutical, automobile, cosmetic, aeronautical, aerospace multinationals... and dedicated especially to Bobby, Jeannie and Newt.

Cruise me blond, cruise me babe
A blond belief beyond, beyond, beyond
No return, no return
I'm deranged
Deranged down, down, down
I'm deranged down, down, down
So cruise me babe, cruise me baby
And the rain sets in
It's the angel man
I'm deranged
Cruise me, cruise me, cruise me baby
The clutch of life
And the fist of love
Over your head
Big deal Salaam
Be real deranged Salaam
Before we reel
I'm deranged
And the rain sets in
It's the angel man
I'm deranged
And the rain sets in
It's the angel man
I'm deranged
And the rain sets in
It's the angel man
I'm deranged
Cruise me, cruise me, cruise me baby
I'm deranged
And the rain sets in
It's the angel man
Their creepy and their kooky
Mysterious and spooky
Their all together ooky

I didn't see any Snowy Owls this winter, and by now most have flown back up near the Arctic. However I hope you don't mind me sharing this cute one with you:)
..........................................................................................

3 minutes,
un vrai ScOOp..,/
------------------------------------------------------------------------
It is very rare to be able to photograph during a mating without disturbing them, at the risk of causing them to separate.
I don't think I will see any more in my life....!
The male, at the top, who holds the female in his mouth at the level of the forelegs, has slipped under the female to have his sexual parts at the level of those of the female..!
the yellow and green tail is that of the male, with his paw we can see how he keeps his companion in place...
I photographed this scene until the end... at the separation,~
3 minutes,
a real scOOp.
Part of being sane is being a little crazy.

The frog didn't allow itself to be disturbed, neither by me nor by the mosquitoes. I looked at this strange situation for a while and was amazed that the mosquitoes didn't seem to be afraid of the frog...

Pond of the Grand Coulon
Swallow nests are common in observatories near Lake Der. The presence of photographers does not seem to bother them in any way and we witness scenes of feeding at an incredible proximity.
Without disturbishing the animal and others photographers.....
A photo for the scene not the beauty, and difficult to take I had to walk a good in the bog and stayed away so as not to disturb them.
A second visit in two years to this enchanted Montmorency Forest, Qc Thanks to our good friend Daniel Dupont we were able to capture this Redpoll couple. Many thanks, Dan !!! In spite of a very windy and chilly day, these birds that weigh about half an ounce, seemed perfectly at ease.

Welcome to where time stands still
No one leaves and no one will
Moon is full, never seems to change
Just labeled mentally deranged
Dream the same thing every night
I see our freedom in my sight
No locked doors, No windows barred
No things to make my brain seem scarred
