took this using a technique i've seen others do; detach the lens from the camera body and change the angle to exaggerate DoF. basically a crude tilt/shift method, akin to how a lensbaby works.

this was the first time i had ever tried this method. the shots taken are all way out of balance because i don't have a tripod, and i have yet to learn how to prevent light from entering into the camera body.
