"TTIP & CETA stoppen" – Getragen von einem breiten Bündnis demonstrierten am 23. April 2016 mehrere zehntausend Menschen in Hannover gegen TTIP & CETA und für einen gerechten Welthandel. Das Bündnis stellt sich gegen ein Abkommen, das vor allem mächtigen wirtschaftlichen Interessengruppen dient. Es tritt ein für eine Handels- und Investitionspolitik ein, die auf hohen ökologischen und sozialen Standards beruht und nachhaltige Entwicklung in allen Ländern fördert. Sie muss insbesondere die Demokratie und den Rechtsstaat fördern sowie die Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten von Staaten, Ländern und Kommunen für die Zukunft sichern, nationale wie internationale Standards zum Schutz von Mensch und Umwelt stärken sowie die Entwicklung einer gerechten Weltwirtschaftsordnung fördern.
Das Bündnis tritt für internationale Abkommen ein, die ...
• Umwelt-, Sozial-, Daten-und Verbraucherschutzstandards erhöhen statt sie zu senken oder auszuhebeln;
• Arbeitsstandards wie die Kernarbeitsnormen der Internationalen Arbeitsorganisation (ILO) festschreiben statt sie auszuhöhlen;
• öffentliche und gemeinnützige Dienstleistungen und Daseinsvorsorge stärken statt sie zu schwächen;
• kulturelle Vielfalt und öffentliche Bildungsangebote fördern statt sie als Handelshemmnis zu betrachten;
• bäuerliche und nachhaltige Landwirtschaft sowie artgerechte Tierhaltung voranbringen statt Gentechnik und industrielle Landwirtschaft zu fördern;
• die Macht von Konzernen und Finanzmarkt-Akteuren begrenzen statt sie zu vergrößern;
• global ausgerichtet sind statt die Mehrheit der Menschen auszugrenzen und
• transparent und offen verhandelt werden statt geheim und in Hinterzimmern.

Anlässlich des Weltfrauentags fand am 8.März 2010 der 2. bundesweite Aktionstag der Kampagne „Antifa Teheran“ statt. Unter dem Motto „Gegen religiösen Fundamentalismus, Sexismus und Homophobie – nieder mit dem islamistischen Regime im Iran!“ fanden in zahlreichen Städten Aktionen und Demonstrationen statt. In Köln gab es neben mehreren direkten Aktionen eine Kundgebung mit anschließender Demonstraion.

Am 15. November 2018 fand der openTransfer Accelerator Demo-Day in Berlin statt. 9 Organisationen, 9 Projekte, 9 Konzepte zu mehr Wirkung. Innerhalb von 12 Monaten wurden aus 9 guten Ideen transferfähige Organisationen, die nun bereit sind, durchzustarten. Der Accelerator Demo-Day war der Abschluss des aktuellen Jahrgangs 2017/2018. L'innovation a donné le ton à Demo Montréal 2016, qui a eu lieu le 9 juin 2016. Créateurs et entrepreneurs ont profité de cette tribune pour proposer leurs idées novatrices à des leaders du monde des affaires, à des investisseurs et à des représentants gouvernementaux d'ici et d'ailleurs. C'est la première fois que les principaux accélérateurs d'entreprises montréalais coopèrent ainsi afin de concrétiser une telle initiative.
Dirigé par District 3 et InnoCité MTL, cet événement sera la première collaboration parmi les accélérateurs de démarrage d'entreprise de notre ville, y compris Founder Fuel, Founder Institute, Tandem Launch, et Centech.

New York Digital Health Accelerator - Demo Day 2015

The New York Digital Health Accelerator (NYDHA) is a program run by the Partnership Fund for New York City and the New York eHealth Collaborative for early- and growth-stage digital health companies that are developing cutting edge technology solutions in care coordination, patient engagement, and workflow management for healthcare providers. The five-month program is unique in that entrepreneur participants are selected by the NYDHA Mentor Network—leading healthcare provider organizations from New York state. Their senior level executives—along with our strategic investor syndicate and entrepreneurs-in-residence—provide participants with product feedback and mentoring. The program provides up to $100,000 in up-front funding per company.
