This series are photographs taken while discovering this magnificent south east of NSW. After living in the ACT for 5 years I moved to the Snowy Monaro Region in January 2019.
I have experienced the Snowy Monaro district before, when I was younger and living in Jindabyne. I feel blessed to be exploring it again now, in much more depth, with a completely different eye. This landscape has seeped into my being. There is something truly magic about the light in this region, let alone the colours.
There are so many areas of natural beauty, it's certainly worth a visit!
The reason they are linked to my pinch river profile is because they will inevitably feed into my work at some stage in some way or another, but for now can just be enjoyed as images of the area that captured my attention and inspired my creativity. My 'work' can be any number of projects I'm working on and these images feed into a project I recently started called Snowy Monaro Places - Autumn Trail of Discovery.

Chinese delegates representing universities in China came to visit Macquarie University. This was a fantastic oppurtunity to learn what sustainable intiatives are being undertaken and to exchange knowledge.
Delegates to the 28th Meeting of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol were joined by Rwanda's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Louise Mushikiwabo, the Minister of Natural Resources, Vincent Biruta, and the Mayor of Kigali, Monique Mukaruliza, to plant trees at the Kigali Convention Centre. The tree planting is a demonstration of our shared commitment to protecting the planet and address climate change.
