On Friday, January 23, Langara welcomed delegates from ELM Saudi Arabia to campus for a visit and an update on the current ELM student group who is studying in the College's LEAP Program. ELM is a banking company owned by the investment arm of the Saudi Ministry of Finance, and 29 of their employees are currently studying in LEAP (Langara English for Academic Purposes) for one year to improve their English language skills.
LEAP is an intensive English language program that uses a holistic approach to integrated learning, combining speaking, listening, reading, and writing in an applied format. Having the ELM students at Langara has provided excellent opportunities for cross-cultural exchange within the classroom and campus community. "It's a great honour to host the delegates and discuss opportunities for continued partnership," said Vicki Vogel, Langara's Manager of English Proficiency Programs.
Delegates participate at the 27th Session of the Conference of the States Parties to the Chemical Weapons Convention.
The Conference is held at the World Forum, The Hague, the Netherlands. The 27th Session is scheduled from 28 November to 2 December 2022.

Checking the delegate count at USA Today, Time.com, CNN Politics.com and MSNBC.com I can see why people are confused about where the 2008 Presidential primary race stands. While compiling these results two of them changed within 15 minutes. By the time you read this, they'll probably be different. I think all media outlets should EXCLIDE super delegate totals since they can vote any way they want and are not guaranteed to vote they way they might be leaning today.

The 2015 MTA Annual Meeting of Delegates was gaveled to order at 12:03 p.m. on Friday, May 8, 2015 by President Barbara Madeloni. Delegates, representing local education associations across the Commonwealth, come to together at this time each year to set the course for the organization in the upcoming year.
