When tasting Mezcal, there is one rule to follow once it passes your lips. That rule is always respect the mezcal. Sip Mezcal slowly and enjoy the taste of Mezcal with a slice of an orange with chile.

Karl made a delcious and very strong apple wine.... its good and dangerous. I call it the pantie dropper.
Lunch - Luisa's recipe for oven roasted tomatoes and breadcrumbs which you toss with fresh basil and spaghetti. Our crumbs were not really crumbs, they were big raggy things which soaked up lots and lots of olive oil. Pretty damn delcious, Vincenzo heartily approved, and he takes his spaghetti and tomato very (too) seriously This will be on the table again soon.
just a wee photo of some (even if I say it myself) delcious cup cakes I made as a gift for my friend Shona. My secret ingredient: goose egg. It really does make all the difference.

Green chocolate inside the white flower just like Saudi flag colors green and white ,Special chocolate for special day ( the Saudi National day ) .
We bought some curry powder from an Indian store last month. It is great stuff, but one teaspoonful for the whole recipe sets ones mouth aflame!
This quaint little hotel/restaurant on the lake was the Hotel Posada Ajijic, and certainly a beautiful and pleasant place.
The fact that the price was quite reasonable as well, made it all the nicer.
This was my selection, a chicken enchilada with green chili... and it was delcious.
a vegetarian pizza I made which has fed me every day this week at lunch time. It was almost vegan but I did sprinkle some cheese on it. It would be just as delcious without cheese though I'm sure (Carrot shavings, tomato slices, zucchini, mushrooms, onion, garlic, italian parsley, olive oil and leftover mushroom spaghetti sauce).
Sara's birthday cake made by Mrs Nahpro-delcious. Sara took this with silly Annie getting in on the act...
i had an early morning today as i needed to not only shower but pack my suitcase before leaving Florence. the getting ready part was easy but packing was such a hassle again. i keep collecting more and have no idea how to fit everything into the bag. somehow i managed though and we made our way to the train station. i had been in such a rush that i hadn't even given myself the time to mentally say goodbye to Firenze, the place i have called home and a place that i have fallen in love with over these past three months. as the train began to leave the station, i peeked through the window to catch my last glimpse of the duomo and sat in silence for a few minutes thinking about my experience here. this city isn't just another tourist destination to me, as it is to most other people. i discovered a new part of myself while living here and have left part of my heart behind. i know i will return though, so until then Firenze; arrivederci. after giving myself the proper moments to ponder these thoughts, i relaxed and slept the rest of the way until we arrived in Levanto. we dropped off our things and walked into the small town to check out the coastline, the center and the surrounding streets. my whole family has concluded that we really love this place for its quaintness. we walked into an old church, left an offering and lit candles. we walked up the steps alongside the church and found a medieval castle still intact. by this time, the sun was beginning to set and we made our way down to the water to watch it. Megan and my mom went all the way down to the shore to stick their fingers in and to officially have touched the Mare Tirreno. once it got dark, we returned to the apartment to have ourselves our own mini aperativo and relax a while before heading back into town to hunt down a restaurant for dinner. since it's the off-season (and also nearly Christmas), there aren't many restaurants even open. but we found a cute place that was all decorated for the holiday and owned by an older Italian couple. we enjoyed our meal and i got to watch Affari Tuoi (probably my last episode). we indulged in a delcious dessert of strawberries and cream before returning to the apartment to get some rest.
Delicious vietnamese dish with marinated grilled pork combined with bun tom nuong make my favorite dish!
September 14, 2009-- I have recently become a huge advocate for V8 Splash fruit juices as opposed to soda. Much healthier, slightly cheaper, and much more delcious. I love this stuff so much, I drank it all before I could get a proper picture with it, as you can see by the empty bottle.

Just Wright
Charlie St. Cloud
(half-made) cake balls
Funfetti (burnt) cookies
I absolutely love the movie Just Wright. It's basically a sequel to Love & Basketball, hence why I like it so much.
Zach Efron has a really nice body, played a creepy dude named Charlie St. Cloud but yeah, interesting movie.

I'll (probably) be going for the next weekend with my parents... to be honest, I don't really wanna go. but I'll take whatever time I can spend with them now before it's too late. so I'll take it.

I need to exercise. I weigh more than my brother. That doesn't really mean much since muscle weighs more than fat... but still. There's a lot of fat than can be reduced. Let's make it happen, Lucy.
making videos last night was fun.
I could get used to it.
Amazing textures and scrumptious swirls are not just a treat to the taste buds but are a visual delight as well. The wide range of sundaes are topped with tempting ripples which makes eating them a heavenly experience. With two double sundae and three single sundae tubs in our basket, we offer a unique taste in our 4 Sundaes available in smaller version cups.
The gift for the groomsmen, filled with a delcious 1554.

My father worked for New York Bagel in Detroit from age 16 to retirement. They are still around and they still have the absolute best bagels....anywhere! Whenever we're in the neighborhood, we pick up a dozen or two.
All I originally wanted was a snap of the neon. I got so much more. The people make the shot here in my opinion. The little girl on the end noticed me first and I can tell she loves having her picture taken! Cute kids out with their mom for a delcious bagel. Nice.

chopped salad: the majority is english cucumber followed by sweet cherry tomatoes, a bit of yellow bell pepper is hiding under the grilled chicken (looks like a lot but it's not), and a cube of feta all nice and salty.
