This is the loveliest tattoo I've ever seen! It reminds me of Ozma of Oz. What's cool is that this was taken on the day she had it finished.

Been ages since I bought a bunch of flowers but they were a bit worse for wear and half price, so who can resist!!!

I'm using this shot for two different groups this week.... Poet_ography - Moments www.flickr.com/groups/poet_ography/pool/

and also my Weekly Theme Challenge - Artificial Light www.flickr.com/groups/weeklythemechallenge/

It's been a long week, and I'm so looking forward to finishing work tomorrow, 'cos then I've got a whole week free :)

Have a great Thursday everyone and thank you for the visits, comments and faves :)

The great aspect of macro flower photography is that you can take so many different images of the same flower using different light.

A deep red rose in warm side light, its petals catching a soft glow. Two unopened buds ride the diagonal stem, leading the eye through gentle garden bokeh.

We've been away for a few days. On our return, the sunflowers were almost destroyed by wind and rain, so I cut them to enjoy one or two more days of summer memories

Every sunset is different, because every day; sun

is different, clouds are different, space is different,

reflections are different....mountains are different,

fogs are different, and above all, we are different.

A gorgeous Hibiscus macro from my Mom's garden. I can't believe they're still blooming at this time of year!

In Transition

I noticed the colour of the maples was quite intense this year.

Any idea what flower are these?...

They have black stems, deep shade colors in red, blue and purple flowers.

They really look cute like ladies in disguise...like wearing.... mustache?!

Wish you all a wonderful weekend...\(^-^)/
