Starting our descent from Conachcraig snow lies deep in some of gulley's, sculpted into fabuolus shapes by the winds!
Conachcraig is a Corbett standing at 865 meters (2837 feet). A Corbett is a Scottish mountain between 2500 and 3000 feet high, with at least 500 feet of descent on all sides.
Scene from the 72s´ disaster film "the Poseidon adventure" . The plot centers on the fictional SS Poseidon, an aged luxury liner on her final voyage from New York City to Athens before being sent to the scrapyard. On New Year's Eve, she is overturned by a Tsunami. Passengers and crew are trapped inside, and a rebellious preacher attempts to lead a small group of survivors to safety through the guts of this colossus of steel...
Ok...just an Illusion. It´s the ceiling of an old abandonend powerplant ! ;-)

sorry I don`t want to bore you - but I really like this - a bit different - view: and you will see some more in the next days... :=))
Everything is starting to bloom in our local gardens and this beautiful opening deep pink Alium beauty was very striking. It showed well against the garden background of other plants creating a nice Bokeh.
I think these are Japanese Iris. We have several clumps of them and they tend to put out a few blossoms each year per clump. This year, this clump put out a very full set of blooms. Two rhododendrons can be seen in the background.
