The Alton Godfrey Rotary Club invited the public to the dedication of the riverboat mural at the corner of Broadway and Henry Street today. The scene was painted on the side of the River Bend Head Start and Family Services Building over the summer months.
This morning children were invited to stamp a design on the bottom of the mural, which put the finishing touches on the project. Muralist Rip Kastaris says it's been a great experience working with artist Mike Eckhard and the members of the Rotary Club.
