The old Grace General Hospital after many years of hazardous materials cleanup is finally being demolished.

I went shooting at a gun show.

 

Sinks, cabinets, counter all removed.

The city as a reference for an abstract aproach. The photos were made with a Holga camera and then printed in cyanotype. The result is a pictorial and abstract view of some details of old constructions.

When major development moves into your area, they deconstruct before they reconstruct. It looks like a war zone, huh?

The bottom board of the first tray was rotting. It was one of the trays with a plywood bottom, so no big loss. Four of the trays have hardwood bottoms, and those are all in good shape. I'll leave out some of the dividers when I re-assemble this one. Some of the compartments were to small for my fingers.
