Deconstruct were contracted for the installation of a secondary structural steel frame into Colt Data Centre, Acton.
About the project:
This project saw the installation of secondary steel frames into a live Data Centre to provide additional support to battery back up rooms located over live mechanical plant rooms.
The works required a clinical approach to the sensitive nature of the structure and emphasis on dust and vibration management was of extreme importance.
Using our experience of Asbestos Removal, we carried out a very successful installation that was both timely and safe.

Pattaya, Thailand
Recycling through deconstruction is common in Thailand. It involves stripping out everything of value before going forward with demolition of the structure. For some reason toilet bowls are not removed. I've even noticed them in trash dumps, both in Pattaya and Bangkok. The only thing I can conclude, but have not yet confirmed, is there must not be a market for second hand toilet bowls in Thailand.
I don't really like how off-center this is; I wanted to spend more time on it, but Abby just woke up from her nap, so this will have to do.
