Here is the linen closet in progress. I'm still added and arranging, but it currently holds our extra pantry food items, our family emergency medical bag and a family emergency trauma bag.
Easy to decide to declutter this because we no longer have anything to play it on. Having enjoyed it on the radio, I took the trouble to apply for a free tape cassette from Radio Times, which had a few to hand out. I was so pleased when I received one of them!

I got medieval on our bookshelves and culled out the ones to donate to the Mosaic library. It was hard, because most of these books I really like and don't want them to go away forever. Hence the donation to our church library. I know I can get to them any time I want :) But now, others can have access to them too (and they're off my shelves). its a win-win.
30 Day "D" Challenge Day 6 - Today's official goal was digging out and donating 2 random kitchen bits I've literally never used: a microwave bacon/egg maker, and a plastic "Taco tray" which is basically a round dish with a bunch of compartments for organizing small toppings. They both went in the donate pile, and in the process I also picked up a cabinet organizer and made a better place for my cutting boards and largest baking sheet.
Cleaning out the junk drawer. Only a little more to go.
After getting new counter tops we are not putting anything back in the drawers or cupboards until we clean and declutter. It's about time!
It's empty now and now to decide what to put back in that drawer - not junk. We found a smaller drawer to handle what was "necessary".

Today's 30-Day "D" Challenge was to start the "Scary closet project" which meant pulling out and "Donating" all the spare plastic hangars, and unboxing the new slimline hangars. As clothes get worn, the plastic hanger they're on will get removed, and they'll go back in the closet on the new slim hangars. This way I can tell by the hangar what things I'm not wearing (then donate those as necessary) plus I gain some closet space back by using the slimmer hangars. Win-win! (Anybody need about a million plastic hangars?)
We'd be lost without them.

Much cleaner looking with a new hamper for towels, a freshened runner and clean towels ready. I still need something on the tall wall just before the window - I'm thinking a small piece with drawers for some storage.

The genkan has accumulated a lot of clutter because I haven't been home to keep it neat. This is mainly mail, with a few items from pockets and bags mixed in.

Quick project to build a second hanging bookshelf for my office, which will allow me to declutter considerably.
Time to start putting on the finish. In this case, my usual: a couple coats of Watco, followed by a coat of Butcher's wax.
4 Target bags full of food later...looks much much better. no idea there would be so much extra room.

I decided to declutter the photo studio and let go of equipment I’m not using regularly:
3 x Alien Bees b1600, 640ws AC powered lights, flash and modeling light. Excellent condition.
3 x 15 foot extension cords, like new.
2 x travel soft boxes with dedicated Alien Bees connectors, excellent condition.
1 x AB speed ring for any other brand soft box. like new.
4 x Pocket Wizard Plus II, good, used, some wear-n-tear that does not effect function.
4 x PW Plus II Hildozine Caddy (connects to the PW, then connects to light stand), like new.
3 x PC mini connector cables for PW to AB. excellent condition.
2 x Alien Bees replacement lamps, new. backup for the flash bulb.
2 x Beauty Dish, one white other is silver. not pictured, used, works. bonus!
1 x Gossen light meter, used, accurate, battery door is uncooperative.
1 x trunk to keep everything together (but not for travel). used.
I did travel with the kit (in a different, sturdier trunk) to Mexico once. Everything came home unscathed and has been used since then, primarily at local (indoor) events or my home studio. Only thing not included in the kit is light stands (because that’s photographer’s choice), and a backdrop stand (I have an extra one if you’re interested). Fwiw, the modeling lights are bright enough to be used for video recording, if you’re into that kind of thing.
