We talk about Developer Option or USB Debugging, few of the users know about this as the developer option were hidden by default in all Android since Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 Most of the owner do not need this and company hide this due to avoid some accidental usage of these option. But sometimes you need to test some app, to run some ADB commands and try some monitoring tools and for this you need this developer option. The most in general use in the developer option is the USB Debugging.
Follow These Simple Steps:
Step 1: Open the App drawer and Tap “Settings” option of Samsung Galaxy S5 Android Smartphone.
Step 2: Navigate to the bottom, tap “About Device” under system section and scroll down, top “Build Number” option.
Step 3: Tap “Build Number” seven times and after it, you see a message on mobile screen “Developer Mode Has Been Turned On”.
Step 4: Go back to “Phone Settings” menu and the “Developer Options” menu will now be displayed and tap developer options.
Step 5: To tick “USB Debugging” box under the developer options and you will see a message that say “Allow USB Debugging”, tap “OK”.

My logic analyzer has become my most used tool because of the constant need to debug different serial busses. Unfortunately this old HP 54620A can't decode serial data and I have to do it by hand most of the time.. I have plans of hooking it up to a computer and using Sigrok to decode the data but that would be a project on it's own and at the moment I just can't spare the time.

As the deadline for launch approaches the mess on the table continues to grow. The problem is since we have hired so many people in such a short time we will be inspected by health and safety inspectors soon. Also we have a big investor coming to visit us next week. Have to either clean some of this mess up or just lock the door to this room from the inside :)
