I had a wander around Delamere Forest on Saturday morning. The forecast wasn't looking the best with showers forecast. I ended up getting pinned down by a heavy shower near Dead Lake but the pines give a nice bit of cover so i stuck it out for a bit. It kind of worked out in my favour as it gave me time to just stop, enjoy the moment and look for compositions. Compositions that i would have missed if i was just passing through :)

Another from a very cold and foggy day in Worcestershire. This is the top of a dead Oak tree at Croome Landscape Park, looking very much like a set of giant discarded antlers on the frosty ground. It was one of a row of oak trees along the skyline above the 'Croome River' and hence are likely to have been a feature of Capability Brown's original design. Sadly several have now reached the end of their days.
